Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh melalui model pembelajaran langsung berbantu media video. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PKBM FIZAR melalui Daring (WhatsApp Group). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau Classroom Action Research. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart berbentuk siklus meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu 1) Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan, 3) Pengamatan, dan 4) Refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini ialah Warga Belajar Kelas 11 Paket C PKBM FIZAR. Penelitian ini didasarkan oleh rendahnya efektivitas pembelajaran saat pembelajaran berlangsung secara daring. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melaui berbagai cara diantaranya diperoleh melalui lembar kuesioner efektivitas pembelajaran, data pemantauan tindakan aktivitas tutor dan warga belajar selama pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung berbantu media video, serta menggunakan catatan lapangan berupa dokumentasi yang diambil menggunakan ScreenShoot. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran langsung berbantu media video menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris melalui siklus penelitian. Siklus I memperoleh presentase sebesar 68,75%, lalu terjadi peningkatan di Siklus II memperoleh presentase 73,33%, meningkat kembali di Siklus III memperoleh presentase 78,47%. Melalui hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dapat meningkat melalui model pembelajaran langsung berbantu media video. This study aims to increase the effectiveness of distance learning through a direct learning model assisted by video media. This research was conducted at PKBM FIZAR through Online (WhatsApp Group). The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research design uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model in the form of a cycle that includes several stages, namely 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The subject of this research is the Class 11 Learning Citizens of PKBM FIZAR Package C. This research is based on the low effectiveness of learning when learning takes place online. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out in various ways including obtained through learning effectiveness questionnaires, monitoring data for tutor and learning activities during learning by using direct learning models assisted by video media, and using field notes in the form of documentation taken using ScreenShoot. The results of the study by applying the direct instruction model assisted by video media showed an increase in the effectiveness of learning in English subjects through the research cycle. Cycle I obtained a percentage of 68.75%, then an increase in Cycle II obtained a percentage of 73.33%, increased again in Cycle III obtained a percentage of 78.47%. Through these results, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of distance learning in English subjects can be increased through a direct learning model assisted by video media.
