Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara 1) pengetahuan orang tua tentang PAUD. 2) pemahaman orang tua tentang PAUD. 3) kesadaran menyekolahkan anak sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sukaresmi, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor mulai bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 20013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Survey dengan pendekatan Korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 60 orang. Untuk menjaring data, digunakan instrumen berbentuk skala Interval. Sebelum digunakan, dilakukan uji validitas dengan rumus Product Moment dari Pearson dan uji reabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil uji reabilitas variabel X1 (pengetahuan orang tua), variabel X2 (pemahaman orang tua), dan variabel Y (Kesadaran Menyekolahkan Anak Sejak Usia Dini) masing-masing adalah 0,927, 0,935, dan 0,947. Ini menunjukkan Variabel X1, X2 dan Y secara keseluruhan adalah reliabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Uji persyaratan data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas Liliefors. Untuk variabel X1y diperoleh L0= 0,089, sedangkan untuk variabel X2y diperoleh L0=0,108. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa data Variabel X1y, dan X2y berdistribusi normal. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment. Untuk koefisien korelasi sederhana menghasilkan rx1y sebesar 0,715, dan rx2y sebesar 0,648. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji-t adalah thitung > ttabel, rx1y=60,51 > 4,02, rx2y=42,02 > 4,07. Dari perhitungan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara X1 dengan Y, dan X2 dengan Y. Untuk menguji koefisiensi determinasi korelasi ganda diperoleh KD sebesar 63,20%. Hal ini menunjukkan variansi variabel Y dipengaruhi oleh variabel X1 dan variabel X2 sebesar 63,20% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah diketahui bahwa terjadi hubungan antara pengetahuan dan pemahaman orang tua tentang PAUD dengan kesadaran menyekolahkan anak sejak usia dini di Desa Sukaresmi, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor. The aims of this study were to know the relationship between: 1) parental knowledge about early childhood education 2) parental understanding about early childhood education 3) awareness to educate children from an early age. This study from March until May 2013. This study uses survey with Correlational approach . Further samples were taken from the population of 60 people. To gather data, use instruments with scale interval . Before use , test the validity of the formula of Pearson Product Moment and test reliability with Cronbach alpha formula . Reliability test results of variable X1(parental knowledge), X2(understanding parents), and the variable Y(awareness to educate children from an early age) are respectively 0.927 , 0.935 , and 0.947. This shows the variables X1, X2 and Y as a whole is reliable at the 0.05 significance level . Test performed with test data requirements normality Liliefors. For X1y variables obtained L0 = 0.089 , whereas for variables obtained X2y L0 = 0.108. Therefore concluded that the data variables X1y , and X2y are from normally distributed populations because L0 is smaller than Ltab at N= 60 and a significance level of 0.05 . Hypothesis test using product moment correlation. Simple correlation coefficient of rx1y amounted of 0.715, and rx2y amounted of 0,648. results obtained from the t-test is tcount > ttable, rx1y=60,51 > 4,02, rx2y=42,02 > 4,07. From these calculations it can be concluded that there is a relationship between X1 and Y , X2 with Y. To test the multiple correlation coefficient of determination obtained KD of 63.20 % . This shows the variance of the variable Y is influenced by variable X1 and variable X2 of 63.20 % and the rest influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study is known that there is a relationship between parental knowledge and understanding of PAUD with awareness to educate from an early age in the Village Sukaresmi, District Sukamakmur, Regency Bogor.
