Abstract

Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran sebagian besar ditentukan oleh kompetensi guru. Kompetensi guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Motivasi berprestasi adalah salah satu faktor internal yang mempengaruhi kompetensi guru. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kompetensi guru di SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 4 bulan yakni pada bulan maret sampai dengan bulan juni 2013 di SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan teknik survei. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 32 guru di SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta, Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah acak sederhana (sample random sampling). Intrumen motivasi berprestasi dan kompetensi guru dimulai dengan menyusun kuesioner model skala likert dan mengacu pada indikator. Uji coba instrumen motivasi berprestasi dan kompetensi guru dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Pearson Product Moment untuk mengetahui validitas dan menghasilkan 65 butir pernyataan yang valid. Uji reliabilitas instrumen motivasi berprestasi dan kompetensi guru dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil reliabilitas variabel X sebesar 0.922 dan hasil reliabilitas variabel Y sebesar 0.963 Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa instrumen tersebut reliable. Uji persyaratan analisis yang diakukan mencari persamaan regresi yang didapat adalah Ŷ = 126.23 + 1.019X. Selanjutnya adalah uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji Liliefors dan diperoleh Lhitung = 0.091 dibandingkan dengan Ltabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar = 0.157 Maka Lo < Lt. hal ini berarti galat taksiran Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan uji kelinieran regresi didapat F Hitung (0.69) < F Tabel (2.60). Ini menunjukkan bahwa model regresi yang dipakai linier. Uji keberartian regresi diperoleh F Hitung (21.71) > F Tabel (4.17), ini membuktikan bahwa regresi berarti. Sedangkan uji koefisien korelasi product moment dari Pearson diperoleh rxy = 0.648, maka ini berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kompetensi guru. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji keberartian koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan uji t dan dihasilkan thitung = 4.66 dan ttabel = 1.70. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa koefisien korelasi rxy= 0.648 adalah signifikan. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh rxy2 = (0.648)2 = 0.419904. Ini menunjukkan bahwa 42.0% variasi motivasi berprestasi dengan kompetensi guru. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang postif antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kompetensi guru di SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta. ***** The success of the learning process is largely determined by the competence of teachers. Teacher competence is influenced by internal factors and external factors. Achievement motivation is one of the internal factors that affect teachers' competence. Therefore, to investigate the relationship between achievement motivation and competence of teachers in SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta. The research was carried out for 4 months ie in March and ending in June 2013 at SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta. The method used is the method of correlation with survey techniques. The study sample is 32 teachers at SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta, random sampling technique is simple (simple random sampling). Instruments achievement motivation and competence of teachers begins with preparing the questionnaire Likert scale models and refers to the indicator. Test instruments achievement motivation and competence of teachers were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment method to determine the validity and produce a valid 65-point declaration. Instrument reliability test of achievement motivation and competence of teachers analyzed using Cronbach Alpha formula. X variable reliability results for 0.922 and the results of reliability variable Y for 0.963 This result proves that the instrument is reliable. Test requirements analysis which transactions are carried out for the obtained regression equation is Y = 126.23 + 1.019X. Next is the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with Liliefors test and obtained Lhitung = 0.091 compared with Ltabel at significance level of 0.05 = 0.157 So Lo <Lt. this means that the error estimates Y over X is normally distributed. While the linearity regression testing obtained Calculate F (0.69) <F table (2.60). This shows that the linear regression model used. Test the significance of regression Compute F (21.71)> F Table (4.17), this proves that the mean regression. While testing the correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment obtained rxy = 0.648, then this means that there is a positive relationship between achievement motivation and competence of teachers. Further test the significance of the correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting t = 4.66 and t table = 1.70. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.648 is significant. Calculating the coefficient of determination obtained rxy2 = (0.648) 2 = 0.419904. It shows that 42.0% of variation in achievement motivation and competence of teachers. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between achievement motivation and competence of teachers in SMK Negeri 25 Jakarta.
