Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar ketertarikan penulis terhadap sebuah novel berjudul Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah, karya buah tangan seorang sastrawan sekaligus tokoh Islam bernama Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah atau yang dikenal dengan sebutan HAMKA. Novel ini tidak hanya dibungkus dengan judul yang menarik, melainkan isi ceritanya yang mengandung pesan-pesan keagamaan Islam bagi para pembacanya sekaligus terdapat kritikan dari HAMKA sendiri yang mengarah kepada beberapa adat istiadat daerahnya Minangkabau Sumatra Barat, yang tidak sejalan dengan ajaran Islam hingga saat ini meski mayoritas agama di sana adalah Islam, seperti masalah perjodohan, harta warisan dan lain�lain. Hal tersebut ditransformasikan oleh HAMKA ke dalam cerita yang bernuansa islami serta romantisme sepasang pria dan wanita yang sangat mendalam pada novel tersebut sehingga cocok pula untuk situasi pergaulan anak muda sekarang ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merepresentasikan isi cerita dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah yang mengandung pesan religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta metode representasi yang merupakan salah satu kajian dari analisis wacana. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori indikator religiusitas dalam bentuk karya sastra berupa novel serta teori ideologi yang ada dalam novel pada umumnya. Hal ini berguna untuk menafsirkan serta menjelaskan tiap cerita yang mengandung pesan-pesan serta nilai-nilai Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat pesan-pesan religius dalam novel tersebut yang menyangkut ajaran Islam, seperti Tawadhu, Sabar, Ikhlas, Cinta dan lainnya dalam bidang tasawuf serta ajaran menunaikan ibadah haji dengan urutan rukunnya dalam bidang fiqh dan tentunya ideologi yang timbul di dalamnya lebih kepada Materialisme dan Tradisionalisme. Kesemuanya ini dapat diserap oleh hati serta pikiran, dikarenakan cerita yang disampaikan sangat ringkas, jelas dan menyentuh berbagai elemen masyarakat. ***** The research was conducted on the basis of interest in the author of a novel entitled Under the Patronage of the Ka’bah, the work of the hands of a writer as well as Muslim leaders called Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah or known as HAMKA. This novel is not only packed with an interesting title, but the story content containing Islamic religious messages to their readers as well as there is criticism of HAMKA itself that leads to some local mores Minangkabau of West Sumatra, that are inconsistent with the teachings of Islam until today although the majority religion there is Islam, such problems arranged marriage, inheritance and others. It is transformed by HAMKA into the story as well as the Islamic nuanced romance a man and a woman of great depth in the novel that is also suitable for young social situations now. This research aims to represent the story of the novel Under the Patronage of the Ka'bah containing a religious message. This research used a qualitative approach and methods of representation which is one of the studies of discourse analysis. The theory is a theory used indicator of religiosity in the form of literary works such as novels and ideological theories that exist in the novel in general. It is useful to interpret and explain each story containing the messages and values of Islam. The results showed that there are religious messages in the novel concerning the teachings of Islam, such as Tawadhu, Patience, Sincerity, Love, and others in the fields of Sufism and the teachings pilgrimage principium order in the field of fiqh and thus ideologies that arise in them over to the Materialism and traditionalism. All of these can be absorbed by the hearts and minds, because the story is delivered is very concise, clear and touching various elements of society.
