Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh moral quotient terhadap perilaku tanggung jawab pada siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 43 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas X sebanyak 136 siswa, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling sebanyak 82 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa angket yang berisi pernyataan dan dibagikan kepada 30 siswa sebagai sampel uji coba instrumen. Perhitungan uji validitas dan reliabilitas uji coba instrumen dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 pada variabel X diperoleh 34 pernyataan valid dan 6 drop. Sedangkan pada variabel Y diperoleh 37 pernyataan valid dan 3 drop. Perhitungan uji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan Alpha Cronbach pada variabel X diperoleh 0,921 > 0,60 dan variabel Y 0,943 > 0,60. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa instrumen dalam penelitian ini valid dan reliabel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara moral quotient terhadap perilaku tanggung jawab pada siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 43 Jakarta. Hal ini dibuktikan dari perhitungan uji regresi sederhana yang diperoleh Fhitung 95,228 > Ftabel 3,94 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, pada uji korelasi produk momen diperoleh Rhitung 0,737 > Rtabel 0,217 dan termasuk dalam kategori kuat, pada uji T diperoleh Thitung sebesar 9,758 > Ttabel 1,993 dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 54,3% dan termasuk dalam kategori memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara moral quotient terhadap perilaku tanggung jawab siswa. Based on the calculation of the validity and reliability test of the instrument with a significance level of 0.05 on variable X, there were 34 valid statements and 6 drops whereas on variable Y, there were 37 valid statements and 3 drops. According to the calculation of reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha on variable X, 0.921 > 0.60 was obtained and on variable Y, 0.943 > 0.60 was obtained. Therefore, it can be concluded that the instrument in this study is valid and reliable. Based upon the testing of hypothesis, it shows that there is a significant positive influence of moral quotient on responsible behavior in class X students at SMK Negeri 43 Jakarta. This is evidenced by the calculation of the product-moment correlation test, Rcount 0.737 > Rtable 0.217 was obtained and was included in the strong category, from the simple regression test with Fcount 95.228 > Ftable 3.94 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 obtained, and from the T test, Tcount 9.758 > Ttable 1.993 was obtained along with the coefficient of determination of 54.3% which is included in the category of having a high influence. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant and positive influence of moral quotient on responsible behavior in students.
