Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja UMKM, untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh TQM terhadap keunggulan bersaing, untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja UMKM, serta untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh TQM terhadap kinerja UMKM melalui keunggulan bersaing. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengukuran data skala likert. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang datanya diperoleh dari 70 Pemilik UMKM di Kecamatan Pademangan, Jakarta Utara. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial yang diukur dengan PLS-SEM pada perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa (a) TQM secara signifikan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja UMKM; (b) TQM secara signifikan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keunggulan bersaing; (c) Keunggulan bersaing secara signifikan positif memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja UMKM; (d) Keunggulan bersaing memediasi hubungan TQM terhadap kinerja UMKM secara signifikan memiliki pengaruh positif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada temuan yang diperoleh untuk penelitian yang sejalan dan berkontribusi pada Resource Based View Theory dan Dynamic Theory of Strategy. Selain itu, penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pelaku UMKM untuk dapat menerapkan sistem TQM dalam usahanya agar mampu bersaing secara kompetitif yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja usaha. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on MSME performance, to test and analyze the effect of TQM on competitive advantage, to test and analyze the effect of competitive advantage on MSME performance, and to examine and analyze the effect of TQM on MSME performance through excellence. compete. This research method uses a quantitative approach with Likert scale data measurement. The sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The source of data used in this study is primary data with data collection through questionnaires whose data were obtained from 70 MSME owners in Pademangan District, North Jakarta. The data analysis technique of this research uses inferential statistical analysis as measured by PLS-SEM on SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study can be seen that (a) TQM has a significant positive effect on the performance of MSMEs; (b) TQM has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage; (c) Competitive advantage has a significant positive influence on the performance of MSMEs; (d) Competitive advantage mediates the relationship of TQM on the performance of MSMEs which has a significant positive effect. This research contributes to the findings obtained for research that is in line and contributes to Resource Based View Theory and Dynamic Theory of Strategy. In addition, this research has implications for MSME actors to be able to implement the TQM system in their business to be able to compete competitively which can improve business performance.
