Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat ketergantungan media sosial terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pengguna Tiktok kelas VII SMPN 242 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan dengan syarat responden adalah pengguna Tiktok dan siswa kelas VII SMPN 242 Jakarta. Sampel diperoleh berjumlah 82 siswa dari jumlah populasi 103 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji korelasi pearson product moment didapatkan hasil nilai pearson correlation memiliki hubungan positif, sehingga media sosial (Tiktok) bisa saja memberikan dampak positif kepada siswa jika yang dimanfaatkan mengarah kepada konten-konten pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil Uji F diperoleh hasil Fhitung = 12,916 lebih dari Ftabel = 3,960 artinya terdapat pengaruh antara tingkat ketergantungan media sosial terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pengguna Tiktok kelas VII di SMPN 242 Jakarta dengan besaran pengaruh ketergantungan siswa terhadap minat belajar memiliki kategori rendah. Kata Kunci: Ketergantungan Media Sosial, Minat Belajar, Aplikasi Tiktok. This study aims to determine the effect of the level of dependence on social media on students' interest in learning to Tiktok class VII SMPN 242 Jakarta. This research uses quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted with the condition that the respondents are Tiktok users and grade VII students of SMPN 242 Jakarta. The sample obtained was 82 students from a total population of 103 students. Based on the analysis of the Pearson product moment found that the Pearson correlation has a positive relationship, so social media (Tiktok) can have a positive impact on students if what is used leads to learning content. Based on the results of the F test, the results of Fcount = 12,916 more than Ftable = 3,960 meaning that there is an influence between the level of dependence on social media on student learning interest on Tiktok class VII at SMPN 242 Jakarta with the magnitude of the influence of student dependence on interest in learning has a low category.
