Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis media audio podcast dalam pembelajaran membaca teks berita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP yang dapat mempermudah proses pembelajaran sekaligus mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap bahan ajar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang terdiri atas tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli pembelajaran, dan angket kelayakan bahan ajar untuk siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 232 Jakarta sejumlah 21 orang. Hasil dari evaluasi ahli materi menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar ini masuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan penilaian 4 aspek. Untuk nilai rata-rata aspek relevansi isi bahan ajar yaitu 5, maka aspek relevansi isi bahan ajar masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Aspek penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar mendapat nilai rata-rata yaitu 4,25, maka aspek penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata aspek penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar yaitu 5, maka aspek konsistensi masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Terakhir yaitu Aspek keterbacaan bahan ajar mendapat nilai rata-rata yaitu 5, maka aspek penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Evaluasi ahli media mendapat nilai 4 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Evaluasi ahli pembelajaran mendapat nilai 4,66 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Evaluasi siswa mendapat nilai 4,02 yang masuk dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, produk bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. ***** This study aims to produce teaching materials based on audio podcasts in learning to read news texts for class VIII junior high school students that can facilitate the learning process as well as determine teacher and student perceptions of the teaching materials. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research instrument uses a material expert validation sheet, a media expert validation sheet, a learning expert validation sheet, and a questionnaire on the feasibility of teaching materials for students. The population of this research is the students of class VIII SMPN 232 Jakarta with a total of 21 people. The results of the material expert's evaluation stated that this teaching material was in the good category with an assessment of 4 aspects. For the average value of the aspect of relevance of the content of teaching materials is 5, then the aspect of relevance of the content of teaching materials is included in the very good category. Aspects of using language in teaching materials got an average score of 4.25, then aspects of using language in teaching materials were in the very good category. The average value of aspects of language use in teaching materials is 5, so the consistency aspect is included in the very good category. Finally, the aspect of the readability of teaching materials gets an average score of 5, so the aspect of using language in teaching materials is in the very good category. The evaluation of the media expert got a score of 4 which was included in the very good category. The evaluation of learning experts got a score of 4.66 which was included in the very good category. The evaluation of students got a score of 4.02 which was included in the good category. Based on this, the product of teaching materials developed is suitable for use in learning activities.
