Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen melalui kajian sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Fokus yang dikaji pada penelitian ini ialah nilai kehidupan yang terdapat dalam novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen, sedangkan subfokus penelitian ini ialah tiga aspek nilai moral, yaitu nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan diri sendiri, nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan sesama, dan nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan Tuhan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah kata, kalimat atau paragraf yang menunjukkan nilai-nilai kehidupan dalam novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen. Penelitian ini menyajikan data unsur intrinsik dari novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen yang meliputi tema, alur dan plot, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, dan sudut pandang yang kemudian dilanjutkan oleh penyajian data nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga aspek nilai moral dalam novel Kado Terbaik karangan JS Khairen. Rincian hasil temuan yang didapatkan dapat dilihat sebagai berikut: (1) Nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan diri sendiri ditemukan sebanyak 6 butir, yaitu pantang menyerah, penyesalan, tidak menerima kenyataan, berjanji, bertangung jawab, dan tidak merasa puas. (2) Nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan sesama ditemukan sebanyak 7 butir, yaitu kepedulian terhadap sesama, memaafkan, kekerasan, berbohong, membenci, main hakim sendiri, dan setia kawan. (3) Nilai moral dalam lingkup manusia dengan Tuhan ditemukan sebanyak 3 butir, yaitu beribadah, berdoa, dan mempertanyakan kebesaran Tuhan. Penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran novel bahasa Indonesia kelas 12 SMA kurikulum 2013 revisi 2018 pada KD 3.9 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel dan KD 4.9 merancang novel atau novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan baik secara lisan maupun tulis. ***** This study aims to describe the moral values contained in the novel Kado Terbaik by JS Khairen through the study of the sociology of literature. This study uses a qualitative description method with content analysis techniques. The focus studied in this research is the value of life contained in the novel Kado Terbaik written by JS Khairen, while the sub-focus of this research is three aspects of moral values, namely moral values in the sphere of man and himself, moral values in the sphere of man with others, and moral values. in the realm of man with God. Sources of data in this study are words, sentences or paragraphs that show the values of life in the novel Kado Terbaik by JS Khairen. This study presents data on the intrinsic elements of the novel Kado Terbaik by JS Khairen which includes the theme, plot and plot, characters and characterizations, setting, and point of view which is then followed by the presentation of data on the moral values contained in the novel Kado Terbaik written by JS Khairen. The results of this study indicate that there are three aspects of moral values in the novel Kado Terbaik by JS Khairen. Details of the findings obtained can be seen as follows: (1) Moral values in the human sphere with oneself were found as many as 6 points, namely never giving up, regret, not accepting reality, promising, being responsible, and not feeling satisfied. (2) Moral values in the scope of humans with others are found as many as 7 points, namely caring for others, forgiving, violence, lying, hating, taking the law into their own hands, and being loyal to friends. 3) There are 3 moral values in the scope of humans and God, namely worship, prayer, and questioning the greatness of God. This research can be implicated in learning Indonesian novels for grade 12 SMA curriculum 2013 revision 2018 at KD 3.9 analyzing the content and language of novels and KD 4.9 designing novels or novelets by paying attention to content and language both orally and in writing.
