Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh latar belakang sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap pembelian impulsif skin care pada mahasiswi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2018 – 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan total sampel sebanyak 63 mahasiswi dari total populasi 250 mahasiswi. Berdasarkan pengujian prasyarat analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan nilai uji F dengan nilai F(hitung) = 6,962 > F(1,61) = 3,998, artinya H1 diterima yang mana terdapat pengaruh positif latar belakang sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap pembelian impulsif skin care. Hal ini berarti jika sosial ekonomi meningkat, maka pembelian impulsif juga akan meningkat. Berdasarkan penghitungan koefisien determinasi, latar belakang sosial ekonomi keluarga mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif skin care pada rentang rendah sebesar 10,2%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. ***** This study aims to determine whether family socioeconomic background influences impulsive skin care purchases for students of Social Science Education, Jakarta State University class 2018 – 2021. This type of research is quantitative with a survey method with a total sample of 63 female students from a total population of 250 female students. Based on the prerequisite testing of data analysis and hypothesis testing that has been carried out, the resulting F test value with a value of F(count) = 6.962 > F(1.61) = 3.998, meaning that H1 is accepted, which has a positive influence on family socioeconomic background on impulse buying skin care. It means that if socioeconomic status increases, impulse buying will also increase. Based on the coefficient of determination calculation, the family's socioeconomic background affects the impulse buying of skin care in the low range of 10.2%. At the same time, the rest is influenced by other factors
