Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan metode pembelajaran teams games tournament terhadap hasil belajar PPKn siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu desain pretest-posttest control group design dengan menggunakan dua kelas dengan penggunaan metode yang terpisah. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 36 Jakarta yang berjumlah 240 siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 orang yaitu peserta didik kelas 8F dan 8D SMP Negeri 36 Jakarta. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes yang dilakukan pada pretest dan posttest peserta didik dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan metode pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode pembelajaran teams games tournament dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada posttest yakni sebesar 1,56 dari sebelumnya sebesar 7,18 menjadi 8,74. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran teams games tournament dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan juga diperoleh Asymp. Sig. sebesar 0,032 < 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran teams games tournament terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the teams games tournament learning method on students' Civic Education learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a research design that is a pretest-posttest control group design using two classes using separate methods. The population in this study were all 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 36 Jakarta, totaling 240 students. Sampling in this study used a simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 80 people, namely students of class 8F and 8D SMP Negeri 36 Jakarta. The instruments of this research are tests conducted on the students' pretest and posttest and observation sheets on the implementation of learning methods. The results of this study are the use of the teams games tournament learning method can affect student learning outcomes as indicated by an increase in student learning outcomes in the posttest which is 1.56 from the previous 7.18 to 8.74. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the teams games tournament learning method can affect learning outcomes based on the results obtained in the hypothesis test that has been carried out as well as obtained by Asymp. Sig. of 0.032 < 0.05 which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using the teams games tournament learning method on student learning outcomes.
