Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) telah mempengaruhi aspek pendidikan yang memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Namun, perkembangan IPTEK belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk kegiatan edukatif. Pada penelitian terdahulu tentang media pembelajaran berbasis video masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dari segi audio, visual, maupun urutan materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video materi preventive maintenance mesin bubut pada mata kuliah perawatan dan perbaikan mesin perkakas menurut ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji coba mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video mendapatkan presentase 89,41% dari validator ahli materi, 88% dari validator ahli media, dan 91,9% dari hasil uji coba mahasiswa. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video materi preventive maintenance mesin bubut pada mata kuliah perawatan dan perbaikan mesin perkakas “Sangat Layak” digunakan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran. ***** The development of science and technology (IPTEK) has influenced aspects of education which have an important role in improving the quality of Human Resources (HR). However, the development of science and technology has not been optimally utilized for educational activities. In previous research on video-based learning media, there were still some shortcomings in terms of audio, visual, and the order of learning materials. This research aims to develop and find out the feasibility of video-based learning media for preventive maintenance of lathe machine materials in the maintenance and repair of machine tools courses according to material experts, media experts, and student trials. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The results of the feasibility test of video-based learning media get a percentage 89,41% of material expert validators, 88% of media expert validators, and 91,9% of student trial results. From the results of these tests, it can be concluded that video-based learning media for preventive maintenance of lathes in the "Very Feasible" machine tool maintenance and repair course is used for learning activities.
