Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media aplikasi Wordwall terhadap minat belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Eksperimen Kuasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta yang berjumlah 278 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 40 siswa dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 39 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur minat belajar IPS siswa. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Melalui hasil analisis dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media aplikasi Wordwall berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of using Wordwall application media on the interest in learning Social Studies for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta. This study used a Quasi-Experimental method. The population in this study is all eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta and the total of students is 278. The sampling technique used purposive sampling The sample in this study is divided into two classes, they are the experimental class and the control class. Class VIII A as the experimental class has 40 students and class VIII C as the control class has 39 students. The data collection technique used questionnaires. The questionnaire aims to measure the students interest in learning. The hypothesis test in this study using ttest. Through the hypothesis test and corresponding analysis results, they show that the use of Wordwall application media has an effect on the interest in learning Social Studies of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 242 Jakarta.
