Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai fungsi pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren Darul Kirom Bekasi.Penelitian dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Kirom Bekasi selama tiga bulan dari Oktober sampai Desember 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi, literatur. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu Santri kelas VIII dan guru Pondok Pesantren Darul Kirom. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa fungsi pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di pondok pesantren darul kirom kelas delapan memiliki kontribusi yang besar di pondok pesantren tersebut. Adapun proses penanaman pendidikan karakter di pesantren yang meliputi; (1) melalui penanaman karakter lewat kegiatan ekstrakulikuler, (2) melalui penanaman karakter melalui pembiasaan terprogram, (3) melalui penanaman karakter melalui aturan-aturan di pondok pesantren. Selain itu terdapat faktor pendukung penanaman pendidikan karakter, yaitu kolaborasi, fasilitas penunjang dan faktor penghambat penanaman pendidikan karakter yaitu guru SDM yang kurang pelatihan dan murid yang kurang aktif. ***** This study aims to obtain data on the function of character education in the learning process at Pondok Pesantren Darul Kirom Bekasi. The research was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Darul Kirom Bekasi for three months from October to December 2020. The research method used was a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observations, interviews and studies, literature. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII and teachers of Darul Kirom Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study concluded that the function of character education in the learning process in the eighth grade Darul Kirom Islamic boarding school had a major contribution in the Islamic boarding school. The process of planting character education in pesantren which includes; (1) through character cultivation through extracurricular activities, (2) through character cultivation through programmed habituation, (3) through character cultivation through rules in Islamic boarding schools. In addition, there are factors supporting the cultivation of character education, namely collaboration, supporting facilities and inhibiting factors for planting character education, namely HR teachers who lack training and students who are less active.
