Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan latar belakang volunter dalam melakukan tindakan voluntarisme, aktivitas-aktivitas voluntaristik Swara Peduli Ceria dalam menjawab permasalahan pendidikan di Kampung Sumur dan mendeskripsikan strategi Swara Peduli Ceria dalam upaya mempertahankan relawannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini didapatkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 volunter program Swara Peduli Ceria, 2 pengurus, dan 2 orang tua yang anaknya mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran di Swara Peduli Ceria. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Swara Peduli Ceria, Kampung Sumur, Klender, Jakarta Timur pada bulan Februari - Mei 2022. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa media sosial instagram dapat menjadi media yang efektif dalam menarik volunter. Volunter yang bergabung dilatar belakangi motivasi yang berbeda yang meliputi motivasi intrinsic, motivasi ipsosentrik, dan motivasi endosentrik. Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh Swara Peduli Ceria terdiri dari kelas pengajaran, kelas dongeng, dan kelas kerohanian. Upaya yang dilakukan Swara Peduli Ceria dalam mempertahankan volunternya adalah dengan mengadakan kegiatan gathering dan juga graduation sebagai bentuk penghargaan bagi volunter dan peserta didik serta dapat meningkatkan solidaritas dan loyalitas bagi volunter. ***** This study aims to explain the background of volunter members in carrying out voluntary actions, Swara Peduli Ceria’s voluntary activities in asnwering educational problems in Sumur Village and describe Swara Peduli Ceria’s strategies in an effort to retain volunters. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data obtained in this study were obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research subjects consisted of 5 volunters from the Swara Peduli Ceria program, 2 administrators, and 2 parents whose children participated in learning activities in learning activities at Swara Peduli Ceria. The Research location was conducted in Swara Peduli Ceria, Kampung Sumur, East Jakarta in February – May 2022. In collecting data, the authors used primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Instagram social media can be effective medium in attracting volunters. Volunters who join are motivated by different motivations which include intrinsic motivation, ipsosentric motivation, and endosentric motvation. Activities carried out by Swara Peduli Ceria consist of teaching classes, fairy tale classes, and spiritual classes. The efforts made by Swara Peduli Ceria in maintaining its volunters are holding gatherings and graduation activities as a form of appreciation for volunters and student and can increase solidarity and loyalty for volunters.
