Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi yang terjadi di masyarakat etnis Betawi dan etnis Sunda serta persebaran kebudayaannya dalam aspek bahasa dan kesenian di pinggiran Kabupaten Bekasi khususnya di Kecamatan Setu dan Kecamatan Pebayuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dilengkapi dengan wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah Budayawan Betawi dan Sunda, Tokoh Masyarakat, serta Kepala Kecamatan Setu dan Kecamatan Pebayuran, dan informan pendudukung seperti perangkat Desa dari Kecamatan Setu dan Kecamatan Pebayuran. Teknik pada penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan lalu dilakukan pemeriksaan keabsahan data oleh triangulator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persebaran kebudayaan Betawi di Kecamatan Setu hanya terdapat di tiga Desa saja yaitu, Desa Cijengkol, Desa Lubangbuaya dan Desa Kertarahayu dan persebaran kebudayaan Sunda di Kecamatan Pebayuran terletak di enam Kelurahan/Desa yaitu, Desa Bantarjaya, Kelurahan Kertasari, Desa Bantarsari, Desa Kertajaya, Desa Karanghaur dan Desa Karangpatri. Hal ini disebabkan interaksi masyarakatnya cenderung ke wilayah Kabupaten Bogor dan Kabupten Karawang dikarenakan aksesibilitasnya yang lebih terjangkau daripada ke wilayah pusat kebudayaan Kabupaten Bekasi. Oleh sebab itu interaksi sosial yang terjadi di Kecamatan Setu dan Pebayuran lebih bersifat asosiatif daripada disosiatif. Interaksi sosial yang bersifat asosiatif ini lebih mengarah kepada interaksi kerja sama dan akomodasi. Kerja sama ini dimaksudkan sebagai suatu usaha bersama antara individu atau kelompok manusia guna mencapai satu atau beberapa tujuan bersama. Sedangkan akomodasi disini merujuk pada suatu keadaan dimana terdapat suatu keseimbangan antara individu atau kelompok manusia yang erat kaitannya dengan norma-norma sosial yang berlaku di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Persebaran, Interaksi, Betawi, Sunda The purpose of this study was to determine the interactions that occur in the Betawi and Sundanese ethnic communities as well as the distribution of their culture in the aspects of language and art on the outskirts of Bekasi Regency, especially in Setu and Pebayuran sub-districts. This study uses qualitative research methods equipped with in-depth interviews and literature study. The key informants in this study were Betawi and Sundanese Cultural, Community Leaders, and Heads of Setu and Pebayuran Districts, and resident informants such as village officials from Setu and Pebayuran Districts. The technique in this study uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and then the validity of the data is checked by a triangulator. The results showed that the distribution of Betawi culture in Setu District was only found in three villages, namely, Cijengkol Village, Lubangbuaya Village and Kertarahayu Village and the distribution of Sundanese culture in Pebayuran District was located in six villages namely, Bantarjaya Village, Kertasari Village, Bantarsari Village, Kertajaya Village, Karanghaur Village and Karangpatri Village. This is due to the interaction of the community tends to the Bogor Regency and Karawang Regency due to its more affordable accessibility than to the cultural center area of Bekasi Regency. Therefore, social interactions that occur in Setu and Pebayuran sub-districts are more associative than dissociative. This associative social interaction leads to the interaction of cooperation and accommodation. This cooperation is intended as a joint effort between individuals or groups of people to achieve one or more common goals. While accommodation here refers to a situation where there is a balance between individuals or groups of people that are closely related to social norms that apply in society.
