Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemikiran Habib Utsman bin Yahya terkait moderasi beragama pada aspek anti kekerasan (al-la ‘Unf), ramah budaya (I’tiraf al ‘urf), adil dan tegak lurus (I’tidal), menghargai negara bangsa (Al-Muwathanah), teladan (Qudwah) khususnya dalam kitab Adabul Insan serta implikasinya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan wawancara. Sumber Primer dalam penelitian ini adalah Kitab Adabul Insan karya Habib Utsman bin Yahya. Sedangkan sumber sekunder berupa buku moderasi beragama Kementrian Agama RI, buku Islam Kononialisme, dan Zaman Modern di Hindia Belanda: Biografi Sayyid Usman (1822-1914), serta hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perwujudan moderasi beragama Habib Utsman bin Yahya yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam lima aspek. Pada aspek al-la ‘Unf penyebaran ajaran Islam dilakukan dengan cara damai dan menghormati segala tatanan kehidupan. Dalam aspek I’tiraf al ‘urf dimaknai sebagai sikap penerimaan terhadap eksistensi budaya masyarakat yang tidak bertentangan dengan syariat. Dalam aspek I’tidal dapat diartikan sebagai sikap proporsional, adil dan bertanggung jawab dalam menilai dan melakukan segala sesuatu. Aspek Al-Muwathanah diartikan sebagai sikap memahami dan menerima eksistensi negara-bangsa. Sedangkan aspek Qudwah berupa sikap teladan dan menjadi pelopor dalam menjalankan nilai-nilai keadilan dan kemanusiaan. Pemikiran moderasi beragama Habib Utsman bin Yahya dapat diimplikasikan pada materi PAI jenjang Pendidikan Dasar (dikdas) yaitu SD, SMP dan jenjang Pendidikan Menengah (dikmen) berupa SMA/SMK. ***** This study aims to analyze and describe Habib Uthman bin Yahya's thoughts regarding religious moderation in aspects of non-violence (al-la 'Unf), culturally friendly (I'tiraf al 'urf), fair and upright (I'tidal), respecting the nation state. (Al-Muwathanah), exemplary (Qudwah) especially in the book Adabul Insan and its implications for learning Islamic Religious Education. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with a library research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature studies and interviews. The primary source in this research is the Book of Adabul Insan by Habib Uthman bin Yahya. Meanwhile, secondary sources are books on religious moderation from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, books on Islam Kononialism, and Modern Times in the Dutch East Indies: Biography of Sayyid Usman (1822-1914), as well as the results of interviews. The results of this study are the manifestation of Habib Uthman bin Yahya's religious moderation which is classified into five aspects. In the aspect of al-la 'Unf the spread of Islamic teachings is carried out in a peaceful manner and respects all orders of life. In the aspect of I'tiraf al 'urf it is interpreted as an attitude of acceptance of the existence of community culture that does not conflict with the Shari'a. In the I'tidal aspect, it can be interpreted as a proportional, fair and responsible attitude in assessing and doing everything. The aspect of Al-Muwathanah is defined as an attitude of understanding and accepting the existence of the nation-state. While the Qudwah aspect is in the form of exemplary attitudes and being a pioneer in carrying out the values of justice and humanity. Habib Uthman bin Yahya's thought of religious moderation can be implied in PAI material at the basic education level (dikdas), namely elementary school, junior high school and secondary education (dikmen) in the form of high school, vocational high school.
