Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Kerusakan ekosistem yang semakin banyak disebabkan oleh kurangnya kecerdasan ekologis yang dimiliki oleh setiap atau sebagian individu. Literasi ekologi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kondisi lingkungan. Penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat mengembangkan literasi ekologi peserta didik. Salah satu model pembelajaran adalah Problem Based Learning dengan Teknik Probing Prompting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Teknik Probing Prompting terhadap literasi ekologi peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta pada Desember 2021-Juni 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 peserta didik dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 31 peserta didik yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Teknik Probing Prompting terhadap literasi ekologi peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu, untuk meningkatkan literasi ekologi peserta didik, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Teknik Probing Prompting perlu menjadi pertimbangan. *ABSTRACT* The destruction of ecosystems which is increasingly being caused by the lack of ecological intelligence possessed by any or some individuals. Ecological literacy can be used to increase public awareness of environmental conditions. The application of the right learning model can develop students' ecological literacy. One of the learning models is Problem Based Learning with Probing Prompting Technique. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Probing Prompting Technique on the ecological literacy of students. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 54 Jakarta in December 2021-June 2022. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research method. The research sample amounted to 62 students with each class totaling 31 students who were selected by simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was an effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Probing Prompting Technique on the ecological literacy of students. Therefore, to improve the ecological literacy of students, the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Probing Prompting Technique needs to be considered.
