Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbasis worked example terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi experiment dengan Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta. Proses pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dan cluster random sampling. Dua kelas yang terpilih sebagai sampel berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal, memiliki varians yang relatif homogen dan memiliki rata – rata kemampuan awal yang relatif sama. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrument tes yang terdiri dari 5 soal uraian yang memuat indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Pengujian hipotesis statistik dilakukan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai thitung 12,895 dan ttabel = 1,994 sehingga tolak H0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata - rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbasis worked example lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Maka dari itu, terdapat pengaruh terhadap siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbasis worked example. Kemudian, hasil perhitungan besar pengaruh menggunakan uji Cohen’s Effect Size yaitu 0,7 yang termasuk kategori besar dengan presentasi pengaruh 73%. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajarn Flipped Classroom, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh *ABSTRACT* This study aims to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model based on the worked example on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The research method used is a quasi-experimental or quasi experimental research method with Post-Test Only Control Group Design. This research was conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta. The sampling process used is simple random sampling and cluster random sampling. The two classes selected as samples come from populations that are normally distributed, have relatively homogeneous variances and have relatively the same initial average ability. The research instrument used is a test instrument consisting of 5 questions that contain indicators of mathematical problem-solving abilities. Statistical hypothesis testing was carried out by -t test at significance level α = 0,05 and obtained tcount = 12,895 and ttables = 1,994, so that H0 was rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students who use the flipped classroom model based on examples are higher than students who use conventional learning models. Therefore, there is an effect on students who use the work example-based flipped classroom learning model. Then, the results of the calculation of the magnitude of the effect using the Cohen's Effect Size test are 0.7 which is included in the large category with an influence percentage 73%.
