Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan urgensi moderasi beragama, implementasi moderasi beragama dan persepsi dari pengurus MATAN Universitas Negeri Jakarta tentang nilai-nilai sikap dari at-Tawassuth, at-Tasamuh, dan al-Muwathanah. MATAN Universitas Negeri Jakarta ini mampu bertahan dan beradaptasi dengan mahasiswa kampus yang kebanyakan masih belum memahami betul tentang moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil dari observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan di organisasi MATAN Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Februari-Mei tahun 2022. Teori yang digunakan yakni Pengertian dari Persepsi (Asrori), Indikator Persepsi (Robbins), Definisi Moderasi Beragama (Quraish Shihab), dan Ciri-ciri Muslim Moderat (Afrizal Nur dan Mukhlis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya persepsi moderasi beragama sudah dilakukan oleh pengurus MATAN Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan beberapa sikap yakni sikap at-Tawasuth, sikap at-Tasamuh, dan sikap al-Muwathanah. ***** This study aims to describe the urgency of religious moderation, the implementation of religious moderation and the perceptions of the administrators of MATAN State University Of Jakarta about the attitude values of at-Tawassuth, at-Tasamuh and al-Muwathanah. MATAN State University of Jakarta survives and adapts to campus students most of whom do not understand religious moderation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The source of the data obtained is the result of observation, interviews and documentation. Observations were carried out at the MATAN State University of Jakarta organization in February-May 2022. The theories used were Understanding of Perception (Asrori), Perception Indicators (Robbins), Definition of Religious Moderation (Quraish Shihab), and Characteristics of Moderate Muslims (Afrizal Nur and Mukhlis). The results of the study show that the implementation of religious moderation has been carried out by the MATAN State University of Jakarta management with several attitudes, namely the attitude of at-Tawasuth, the attitude of at-Tasamuh, and the attitude of al-Muwathanah.
