Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar serta tingkat efektivitas e-modul berbasis literasi sains pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK Bangunan dengan melihat perbedaan hasil tes belajar berbasis literasi sains pada peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan di dua sekolah, yaitu SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta dan SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta dari bulan Juli hingga Agustus 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen yang melibatkan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen di masing-masing sekolah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group Design dimana kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan/treatment berupa penggunaan e-modul mekanika teknik berbasis literasi sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis Uji-T dengan teknik Independent Sample T-Test di SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta memperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 10.291 > ttabel sebesar 1.67155, sedangkan di SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta memperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 6.255 > ttabel sebesar 1.68107. Artinya, kedua hasil Uji-T menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan e-modul mekanika teknik berbasis literasi sains dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional, dimana kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Selain itu, perhitungan N-Gain di SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta memperolah angka yang lebih tinggi yaitu 0.48, sedangkan N-Gain di SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta adalah 0.39. Tingkat efektivitas e-modul mekanika teknik berbasis literasi sains di kedua sekolah tersebut berada pada kategori “sedang”. ***** This study aims to determine the effect and level of effectivenessof science literacy-based e-modules on Technical Mechanics subjects at vocational building school by looking at the differences in the results of science literacy-based learning test on students from the experimental class and the control class. The research was conducted in two schools, namely SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta and SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta from July to August 2022. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method involving a control class and an experimental class in each school. The research design used was the Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design where the experimental class was given treatment in the form of using an e-module of technical mechanics based on scientific literacy. The results showed that the T-test analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test technique at SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta obtained a t-count value of 10.291 > ttable of 1.67155, while at SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta obtained a t-count of 6.255 > ttable of 1.68107. That is, the two T-Test results show that there are differences in learning outcomes between the esperimental class using the e-module technical mechanics of science literacy-based techniques and the control class using conventional teaching materials, where the experimental class has a higher average learning outcome than the control class. In addition, the calculation of NGain at SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta obtained a higher number of 0.48, while the NGain at SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta was 0.39. The effectiveness level of the science literacy-based technical mechanicsc e-module in the two schools is in the “medium” category.
