Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait pemanfaatan google classroom pada jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan otomotif di SMK Fensensius Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan responden sebanyak 10 pendidik dan 14 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dilakukan dengan teknik penyebaran kuesioner, sementara pengumpulan data penunjang dilakukan dengan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pemanfaatan Arief Sadiman yang merupakan model terapan dari ASSURE. Terdapat tiga tahapan dalam model Arief Sadiman, yaitu (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan, (3) tahap tindak lanjut. Adapun hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pemanfaatan google classroom pada jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan otomotif di SMK Fensensius Jakarta dimanfaatkan secara baik sebagai media pembelajaran, namun belum optimal. Dokumentasi RPP belum tercantumkan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan google classroom. Implikasi penelitian adalah sebagai saran kepada pendidik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kredibilitas dalam membelajarkan peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berupa google classroom untuk meningkatkan efektifitas, motivasi, serta hasil belajar peserta didik. ***** This study aims to describe the use of Google Classroom in the automotive light vehicle engineering department at Fensensius Vocational School, Jakarta. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted with 10 educators and 14 students as respondents. The main data collection technique was done by distributing questionnaires, while the supporting data collection was done by observation. This study uses Arief Sadiman's utilization model which is an applied model from ASSURE. There are three stages in Arief Sadiman's model, namely (1) the preparation stage, (2) the implementation stage, (3) the follow-up stage. The results of the study showed that the use of google classroom in the automotive light vehicle engineering department at SMK Fensensius Jakarta was used well as a learning medium, but it was not optimal. The RPP documentation does not include learning activities using Google Classroom. The implication of the research is as a suggestion to educators to improve the ability and credibility in teaching students by utilizing learning media in the form of google classroom to increase the effectiveness, motivation, and learning outcomes of students.
