Abstract

Kinerja yang kuat tergambar dari cara guru menjalankan peran dan fungsinya secara profesional. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji berbagai variabel yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru (Y), yaitu variabel kepemimpinan multikultural (X1), peran dewan sekolah (X2), dan iklim organisasi bertindak sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dimana data dianalisis menggunakan statistik dengan mengumpulkan data kuantitatif dari studi penelitian. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 170 guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tangerang, Provinsi Banten. Responden menilai variabel penelitian, yaitu kepemimpinan multikultural, peran dewan sekolah, iklim organisasi dan kinerja guru. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis varian, dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) atau PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kepemimpinan multikultural berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien jalur 0.338; (2) peran dewan sekolah berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien jalur 0.173; (3) iklim organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien jalur 0.426; (4) kepemimpinan multikultural berpengaruh langsung terhadap peran dewan sekolah dengan koefisien jalur 0.74; (5) kepemimpinan multikultural berpengaruh langsung terhadap iklim organisasi dengan koefisien jalur 0.314; (6) peran dewan sekolah berpengaruh langsung terhadap iklim organisasi dengan koefisien jalur 0. 592;(7) kepemimpinan multikultural berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru melalui iklim organisasi dengan koefisien jalur 0.134; (8) peran dewan sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru melalui iklim organisasi dengan jalur 0.252. Sehingga, perlu diperhatikan kepemimpinan multikultural, peran dewan sekolah dan iklim organisasi guna meningkatkan kinerja guru. The purpose of the study was to examine various variables that affect teacher performance (Y), namely the multikultural leadership variabel(X1), the role of the school board (X2), and organizational climate acting as an intervening variable. This study uses an experimental quantitative approach where the data are analyzed using statistics by collecting quantitative data from research studies. The research sample involved 170 public high school teachers in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. Respondents assessed the research variables, namely multikultural leadership, the role of the school board, organizational climate and teacher performance. Quantitative data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance, with Partial Least Square (PLS) or PLS-SEM. The results showed: (1) multikultural leadership has a direct effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient of 0.338; (2) the role of the school board has a direct effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient of 0.173; (3) organizational climate has a direct effect on teacher performance with a path coefficient of 0.426; (4) multikultural leadership has a direct effect on the role of the school board with a path coefficient of 0.74; (5) multikultural leadership has a direct effect on organizational climate with a path coefficient of 0.314; (6) the role of the school board has a direct effect on organizational climate with a path coefficient of 0.592; (7) multikultural leadership influences teacher performance through organizational climate with path coefficient 0.134; (8) the role of the school board affects teacher performance through the organizational climate with the path of 0.252. Thus, it is necessary to pay attention to multicultural leadership, the role of the school board and the organizational climate to improve teacher performance. It is necessary to improve the quality of the relationship between these variables.
