Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu hal terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia, dalam perjalanannya pemerintah Indonesia terus berbenah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Namun keprihatinan akan pendidikan terjadi pada umat Islam di Indonesia, 65% dari orang Muslim Indonesia belum mampu untuk membacaaAl-Qur’an. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut maka pendidikan membaca Quran harus dilaksanakan sedini mungkin. Namun, di era seperti sekarang ini beberapa orang tua lebih memilih untuk mengirimkan anak-anak mereka ke Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an (TPQ) dibandingkan mengajarkannya sendiri. Namun dalam pelaksanaan TPQ masih terdapat sejumlah hambatan seperti buruknya regenerasi guru, manajemen yang kurang tertata, metode yang diajarkan kurang efektif. Mengamati kondsi tersebut, maka untuk membangkitkan minat belajar dan mempermudah membaca Qur’an terutama bagi anak – anak, maka diperlukan metode yang tepat, efektif dan efisien. Dari berbagai metode membaca Al-Qur’an yang ada terdapat 2 metode yang memiliki manajemen dan regenerasi yang baik yaitu Metode Qiroati dan Metode Utsmani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an di TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu dan TPQ Al - Utsmani Condet serta membandingkan penerapan metode dan hasil dari penerapan kedua metode tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus atau case study yang mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an di TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu dan TPQ Al - Utsmani Condet. Data diperoleh menggunakan metode Observasi, wawancara, studi dokuemntasi dan tes. Observasi dilakukan di TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu, Jakarta Selatan dan TPQ Al - Utsmani Condet, Jakarta Timur pada bulan Maret 2022. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Tahapan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (Rusman) dan Teori Efektivitas Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an (Chaer). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Qiroati di TPQ At-Taqwa menggabungkan antara praktik dan hafalan. Sedangkan metode Utsmani lebih berfokus kepada praktik cara yang mudah dan menyenangkan dengan menggunakan nasyid. Kedua metode tersebut memiliki perbedaan yang cukup signifikan dilihat dari hasil tes kepada santri – santri dari kedua lembaga. ***** Education is one of the most important things in human life, in its journey the Indonesian government continues to improve to improve the quality of education. However, concern for education occurs among Muslims in Indonesia, 65% of Indonesian Muslims have not been able to read the Al-Qur'an. To overcome this, education to read the Qur’an should be implemented as early as possible. However, in this era, some parents prefer to send their children to Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) rather than teach it themselves. However, in the implementation of TPQ, there are still several obstacles, such as poor teacher regeneration, unorganized management, and less effective methods taught. Observing these conditions, to arouse interest in learning and make it easier to read the Qur'an, especially for children, an appropriate, effective, and efficient method is needed. Of the various methods of reading the Qur'an, there are 2 methods that have good management and regeneration, namely the Qiroati Method and the Utsmani Method. This study aims to describe the application of learning to read the Qur'an at TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu and TPQ Al - Utsmani Condet and compare the application of the method and the results of the application of the two methods. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using a case study approach or case study that describes the application of learning to read the Qur'an at TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu and TPQ Al - Utsmani Condet. Data were obtained using observation, interviews, documentation studies, and tests. Observations were made at TPQ At-Taqwa Pondok Labu, South Jakarta and TPQ Al-Utsmani Condet, East Jakarta in March 2022. The theory used in this study is the Theory of Stages of Implementation of Learning (Rusman) and the Theory of Effectiveness of Al-Qur'an Learning (Chaer).The results of this study indicate that the application of the Qiroati method at TPQ At-Taqwa combines practice and memorization. While the Utsmani method was more focused on the practice of an easy and fun way of using nasyid. The two methods have a significant difference, as seen from the results of tests on students from both institutions.
