Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya dari Indonesia Hertitage Foundation atau yang disebut IHF sebagai suatu organisasi yang berupaya melakukan pemerataan pendidikan berkualitas untuk kelas bawah. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk umendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan berkualitas untuk kelas bawah. Serta untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implikasi dari upaya pemerataan akses pendidikan untuk kelas bawah yang dilakukan oleh IHF. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendektan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara dengan subjek penelitian satu orang Wakil Direktur IHF, satu orang penanggungjawab program SBB, dan masing-masing satu kepala sekolah serta guru dari dua sekolah SBB. Penelitian ini di lakukan di kantor pusat IHF dan di dua lokasi sekolah SBB yang berada di Tapos dan Kp. Kebayunan, Depok pada bulan Maret-Juni 2019. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep pendidikan berkualitas, kesamaan hak pendidikan dan konsep kelas sosial dan pendidikan. Berdasarkan pada hasil temuan penelitian, bahwa upaya pemerataan akses pendidikan berkualitas dilakukan oleh IHF dalam bentuk penyebaran model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) yang merupakan bentuk pendidikan berkualitas menurut IHF yang disebarkan kepada masyarakat kelas bawah melalui program Semai Benih Bangsa. Pendidikan berkualitas IHF ini telah menjangkau lebih dari 3.284 sekolah di daerah masyarakat dan kurang lebih 65.680 anak dari kelas sosial bawah. Dengan program SBB yang menjangkau daerah-daerah masyarakat miskin ini IHF mengupayakan peningkatan akses masyarakat kelas bawah terhadap pendidikan berkualitas melalui model PHBK dan peningkatan kualitas guru melalui pelatihan untuk sekolah-sekolah SBB ini. Sekolah-sekolah SBB ini merupakan sekolah binaan IHF yang pelaksanaan dan pengelolaannya tetap dilakukan secara mandiri oleh masyarakat. Dengan adanya upaya pemerataan pendidikan berkualitas melalui SBB, peserta didik di daerah masyarakat miskin atau kelas bawah dapat terbentuk secara akademis dan karakter dan memberikan dampak positif bagi teman sebayanya di lingkungannya. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Berkualitas, Pemerataan Akses Pendidikan, Kelas Bawah This research aims to describe the efforts of Indonesia's Hersumarage Foundation (IHF) as an organization that seeks to make a quality education equitable for the lower classes. This research also aims to describe and analyze the inhibitory factor and supporting factors in the implementation of quality education for the lower class. As well as to describe and analyse the implications of the efforts to equalization education access to the lower class conducted by IHF. This research was conducted in Cimanggis, Depok for more or less four months. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data obtained in this study was obtained through observations, documentation, and interviews with the research subject of one person deputy director of IHF, one person in charge of the Semai Benih Bangsa (SBB) program, and each one of the principals and teachers of two SBB school. The research was done at the IHF headquarters and in two SBB school locations located in Tapos and Kp. Kebayunan, Depok in March-June 2019. The concept used is the concept of quality education, equal education rights and the concept of social class and education. Based on the findings of the study, it was found that efforts to equalize access to quality education for the lower classes were carried out by the IHF in the form of disseminating the Character-Based Holistic Education (PHBK) models which is a form of quality education according to IHF. This quality education model is distributed to the lower class community through the SBB program. IHF's quality education has reached more than 3,284 schools in the community and approximately 65,680 children from the lower social classes. With the SBB program that reaches poorer areas, IHF is striving to increase access of lower class people to quality education through the PHBK model and improve teacher quality through training for these SBB schools. With the effort to align quality education through SBB, students in poor or lower-class communities can be formed academically and in character and have a positive impact on their peers in their environment.
