Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara intensitas membaca Al-Qur’an dengan ketenangan jiwa mahasiswa PAI FIS UNJ dalam melaksanakan tugas akhir dan seberapa besar hubungan dari kedua variable tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional. Sample yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 69 mahasiswa yakni mahasiswa PAI FIS UNJ yang tengah melaksanakan tugas akhir yakni skripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah teknik korelasi product moment dan nilai koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan variable Intensitas Membaca Al-Qur’an (X) dan variable Ketenangan Jiwa (Y). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara intensitas membaca Al-Qur’an dengan ketenangan jiwa, dimana rhitung sebesar 0,661, sedangkan rtable dengan N=69 pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 0,235, jadi rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (0,661>0,235) berdasarkan table interpretasi product moment memiliki arti bahwa variable X dengan variable Y memiliki korelasi yang kuat dan tinggi. (2) koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variable X memiliki kontribusi sebesar 44% dengan variable Y dan 56% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh factor lain. Hal tersebut dilihat dari sikap para responden dari perhatian, penghayatan, durasi serta frekuensi yang dilakukan pada pembacaan Al-Qur’an yang menimbulkan ketenangan tersendiri pada jiwanya. ***** This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the intensity of reading the Qur’an with peace of mind in carrying out the final project of PAI FIS UNJ students and how big the relationship between the two variables is. The method used in this research is the correlational method. The sample used in this tusdy amounted to 69 students, namely PAI FIS UNJ students who were carrying out their final project , namely thesis.Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the product moment correlation technique and the coefficient of determination using the Al-Qur'an Reading Intensity variable (X) and the Mental Peace variable (Y). The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of reading the Qur'an with peace of mind, where rcount is 0.661, while rtable with N=69 at the 5% significance level is 0.235, so rcount is greater than rtable (0.661> 0.235) based on the interpretation of the product moment table which means that the X variable with the Y variable has a strong and high correlation. (2) the coefficient of determination shows that variable X has a contribusion of 44% with variable Y and 56% being influenced by other factors. This can be seen from the attitude of the respondents in terms of attention, appreciation, duration and fluency of reading the Qur’an which creates its own serenity in the soul.
