Abstract

Berlatar belakang dari rasa keprihatinan dan kepedulian terhadap kondisi lingkungan menjadi salah satu faktor hadirnya sekelompok masyarakat yang tergabung dalam komunitas untuk melakukan gerakan lingkungan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran komunitas dalam menyosialisasikan pendidikan lingkungan melalui strategi dari kegiatan ecofun community, yang berkaitan dengan teori modernisasi ekologi (ecological modernization) yang dikemukakan oleh Arthur P.J Mol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalu observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan subjek penelitian 1 orang pendiri ecofun community dan 4 orang relawan ecofun community yang menjadi informan utama, dan 6 orang anak yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ecofun community yang menjadi informan karena dapat memberikan informasi mengenai dampak dan manfaat yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan ecofun community dan 3 orangtua dari anak yang berpartisipasi sebagai informan pendukung. Lokasi penelitian di Ecofun Workshop pada bulan Februari hingga April 2019. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini, peran ecofun community dalam menyosialisasikan pendidikan lingkungan didalam masyarakat melalui kegiatan bermain ecofunopoly. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan Modernisasi Ekologi Arthur PJ Mol dalam prosesnya Pertama, konsep modernisasi ekologi terletak dari ecofunopoly yang didalamnya menjelaskan tentang edukasi lingkungan dengan bantuan teknologi. Kedua, adanya jaringan dalam pengembangan menjalankan kegiatan ecofun community tidak terlepas dari adanya jaringan yang dibangun di dalam jaringan antar sesama komunitas, stakeholder setempat, dan juga lembaga internasional. Ketiga, efektivitas dari adanya kegiatan bermain ecofunopoly yang dilakukan ecofun community berdampak pada bertambahnya ilmu pengetahuan baru tentang lingkungan dan juga perubahan perilaku anak maupun orang dewasa yang turut berpartisipasi didalam kegiatan tersebut. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research data were obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews with the research subjects 1 ecofun community founders and 4 ecofun community volunteers who were the main informants, and 6 children who participated in ecofun community activities that became informants because they could provide information about the impacts and benefits were obtained in activities ecofun community and three parents of children who participate as an informant supporters. Location research in Ecofun Workshop on month in February to April 2019. Based on the results of the findings were obtained in a study of this, the role of ecofun community to disseminate educational environment within the community through activities play ecofunopoly. This study was analyzed using Arthur PJ Mol's Ecological Modernization in the process. First, the concept of ecological modernization lies in ecofunopoly, which explains about environmental education with the help of technology. Second, the tissue in the development of running activities ecofun community is not detached from the network that is built on the network among fellow communities, stakeholders local, and also institutions internationally. Third, the effectiveness of their activities play ecofunopoly who do ecofun community have an impact on increasing science knowledge new about the environment and also change the behavior of children and the adults who helped participate in activities that.
