Abstract

Penelitian ini secara garis besar memiliki dua permasalahan penelitian. Pertama, bagaimana pengelolaan sampah di Bank Sampah Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara. Kedua, bagaimana proses pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui Bank Sampah di Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara. Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan pengelolaan sampah di Bank Sampah Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara dan mendeskripsikan proses pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui Bank Sampah di Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan subjek penelitian yaitu tiga orang pengelola Bank Sampah Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara, delapan anggota bank sampah, ketua RT 01, ketua RW 02, dan satu orang pengelola kelurahan Jatinegara. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di daerah Cakung, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Februari-Desember 2019. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui Bank Sampah di Rumah Kreatif Bersatu Nusantara dilakukan melalui program-program yang disusun untuk memberikan edukasi bagi anggota. Selain itu hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan terdapat pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan sampah sebagai implikasi dari proses pemberdayaan pengelolaan sampah di bank sampah, yaitu sampah tidak lagi dianggap sebagai hal yang tidak berguna dan dibuang begitu saja melainkan sampah dapat bernilai ekonomis dan dapat digunakan kembali setelah melalui proses pengelohan sampah. Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui bank sampah membawa perubahan lebih positif mengenai pengelolaan sampah saat ini. Namun jika dilihat dari ukuran pemberdayaan Bank Sampah hanya sebagai suplemen bagi masyarakat di Pulo Kambing. This research marginally have two problems. Research the first, how waste management in the bank trash the house creative unite nusantara. Both, how the process of empowering the poor through trash bank at the creative unite nusantara.The main purpose of this study to describe the waste management in the bank trash the house creative unite nusantara and describe the process of empowering the poor through trash bank at the creative unite nusantara. This study using a qualitative approach with a method of case studies. The research data obtained through observation, documentation and an interview with the subject of research that is three people manages the bank trash the house creative unite nusantara, eight members of the trash bank, Head of RT 01, Head of RW 02 , and one person for until now the management of Jatinegara urban village. The location of the research was being conducted in an area on the Cakung, east Jakarta. The research was being conducted from February to Desember 2019 . The result of this research shows that empower the poor through trash bank in the creative united nusantara done through program-program prepared to provide education for members. In addition there are the result of this research also shows an understanding of waste management as implications of empowerment processes waste management in trash bank, is the no longer viewed as the useful and garbage can be discarded but economically valuable and can be used again after going through a pengelohan garbage. Empowerment processes the poor through trash bank bringing about a change of more positive about dump management now. It can be seen from the size of empowerment trash bank only as a supplement to the community in Pulo Kambing.
