Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai penggunaan jenis-jenis les connecteurs argumentatifs dalam debat berbahasa Prancis yang berjudul "La place de l’Islam en République : Marine Le Pen face à Jean Messiha" pada Kanal Youtube Touche Pas à Mon Poste serta mendeskripsikan kegunaan jenis-jenis les connecteurs argumentatifs dalam debat tersebut. Jenis-jenis les connecteurs argumentatifs berdasar pada klasifikasi les connecteurs argumentatifs menurut Riegel (2009) yang meliputi; (1) opposition-concession, (2) explication et justification, (3) complémentation, serta (4) conclusion. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan teknik catat, sementara itu teknik analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada teknik analisis data kualitatif menurut Miles dan Huberman yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Tahap pertama adalah proses reduksi data yang dilakukan dengan mengutip pernyataan-pernyataan dalam debat yang menggunakan les connecteurs argumentatifs. Tahap selanjutnya adalah data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel analisis data dan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis dan fungsi les connecteurs argumentatifs dalam pernyataan pada debat. Tahap terakhir adalah penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi berdasarkan data-data yang telah didapat dengan menyimpulkan jenis-jenis les connecteurs argumentatifs dan kegunaannya dalam debat tersebut sesuai dengan teori Riegel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 24 les connecteurs argumentatifs yang terkandung dalam debat berbahasa Prancis pada kanal youtube Touche Pas à Mon Poste. Dari 24 data yang ditemukan, diperoleh data les connecteurs argumentatifs sebanyak 6 data opposition-consession yang digunakan sebagai penanda oposisi dan konsesi, 7 data explication et justification yang digunakan sebagai penanda penjelasan dan pembuktian, 5 data complémentation yang digunakan sebagai penanda penambah argumen dan 6 data conclusion yang digunakan sebagai penanda kesimpulan selama debat berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya, diharapkan pembelajar bahasa Prancis dapat mengetahui dan memahami penggunaan les connecteurs argumentatifs beserta dengan jenis-jenisnya secara lisan maupun tulisan. Pembelajar bahasa Prancis diharapkan mendapat pemahaman yang mendalam khususnya bagi mahasiswa bahasa Prancis yang tertarik pada kajian le connecteur, khususnya les connecteurs argumentatifs dalam bahasa Prancis yang merupakan bagian dari linguistik.*******This study aims to gain an understanding of the use of the types of les connecteurs argumentatifs in the French debate entitled “La place de l'Islam en République : Marine Le Pen face à Jean Messiha” on the Youtube Channel Touche Pas à Mon Poste and to describe the use of the types of les connecteurs argumentatifs in the debate. The types of les connecteurs argumentatifs are based on the classification of les connecteurs argumentatifs according to Riegel (2009) which include; (1) opposition-concession, (2) explication et justification, (3) complementation, and (4) conclusion.This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Data was collected using the listening method and note-taking technique, meanwhile the data analysis technique used refers to the qualitative data analysis technique according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The first stage is the data reduction process which is carried out by quoting statements in the debate using les connecteurs argumentatifs in their speech. The next stage is that the data is presented in the form of a data analysis table and classified based on the type of use of les connecteurs argumentatifs in the statement on the video debate. The last stage is drawing conclusions and verifications based on the data that has been obtained by concluding the types of les connecteurs argumentatifs and their uses in the debate in accordance with Riegel's theory.The results of this study indicate that there are 24 les connecteurs argumentatifs contained in the French debate video on the youtube channel Touche Pas à Mon Poste. From the 24 data found, 6 opposition-consession data were obtained which were used as opposition and concession markers, 7 explication et justification data were used as explanation and justification markers, 5 complémentation type data were used as argument enhancers and 6 conclusion type data that is used as a marker of conclusions during the conversation in the debate.Based on the results of the research that has been described previously, it is hoped that French language learners can know and understand the use of les connecteurs argumentatifs and its types orally and in writing. French language learners are expected to gain a deep understanding, especially for French language students who are interested in the study of linguistic elements in French such as le connecteur, especially les connecteurs argumentatifs which is part of linguistics.
