Abstract

Lingkungan hidup sangat berperan penting pada kehidupan manusia. Pengetahuan mengenai lingkungan dapat berpengaruh terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi UNJ. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Februari 2022. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 70 mahasiswa yang diambil secara Simple Random Sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Uji hipotesis statistik melalui uji Linieritas dan uji Korelasi Pearson. Diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dalam kategori tinggi. Hubungan yang terbentuk adalah hubungan positif dangan kategori tinggi, sehingga semakin tinggi pengetahuan lingkungan mahasiswa maka semakin baik pula sikap peduli lingkungannya. Penerapan dari sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi UNJ yang baik juga perlu diapresiasi oleh pihak Universitas. Dengan adanya penghargaan berkaitan sikap peduli mahasiswa terhadap lingkungan, dapat memunculkan sikap peduli lingkungan untuk mahasiswa lainnya. ***** The environment plays an important role in human life. Knowledge of the environment can affect the attitude of caring for the environment. This study aims to determine the correlation between enviromental knowledge and enviromental care attitude students of the Biology Education Study Program, UNJ. This research was conducted at the State University of Jakarta on February 2022. The total samples used were 70 students were taken by Simple Random Sampling. The method used is a quantitative method with a correlational study. Statistical hypothesis test through Simple Linear Regression test, Linearity test and Pearson Correlation test. It is known that there is a postive relationship between enviromental knowledge and enviromental care attitude with correlation at high category. The relationship that formed is a positive relationship, so the higher the student's environmental knowledge, the better the enviromental care attitude. Further research needs to be done in order to find other variables that are suspected to have a relationship to student’s knowledge of the environment with an enviromental care attitude so that student’s knowledge and student’s enviromental care attitude can be increased. The application of the good environmental care attitude of UNJ Biology Education students also needs to be appreciated by the University. With awards related to students' caring attitude towards the environment, it can bring up environmental care attitudes for other students.
