Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi koping terhadap depresi, kecemasan, dan stres pada remaja yang kehilangan orang tua akibat Covid-19 di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisis regresi berganda dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 103 remaja yang berusia 13 sampai 18 tahun. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scales (DASS)-42 dari Lovibond & Lovibond (1995) dan Brief COPE dari Carver (1997). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara strategi problem-focused coping terhadap depresi, kecemasan, dan stres, sama halnya dengan strategi emotion-focused coping tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap depresi, kecemasan, dan stres. This study aims to determine the effect of coping strategies on adolescents’ depression, anxiety, and stress following the death of parent due to Covid-19 in DKI Jakarta. This study uses quantitative methods and multiple regression analysis with the number of respondents are 103 who attain the age of 13 to 18 years old. Questionnaire was conducted to collect data. The measuring instruments which used in this study were Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scales (DASS)-42 by Lovibond & Lovibond (1995) and Brief COPE by Carver (1997). The results of this study is showed that there is not a significant effect between problem-focused coping on depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as emotion-focused coping on depression, anxiety, and stress which there is not significant effect.
