Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis penerapan Pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan Higher Order Thinking Skills Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka. Penelitian studi pustaka dilakukan dengan mengkaji sumber literatur-literatur seperti buku, jurnal, artikel atau sumber-sumber lain yang relevan. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan oleh penulis ialah teknik analisis isi. Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi akan memperoleh hasil analisis terhadap berbagai data dari jurnal, buku, artikel ilmiah, dan literatur literatur lain yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini secara objektif dan sistematis. Hasil analisis deskriptif dan komparatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang sesuai ialah contohnya yaitu Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang mana model pembelajaran ini lebih memprioritaskan pada siswa sebagai subjek aktif dan dominan dalam penerapannya atau bisa disebut student control. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang akan mendorong siswa untuk memiliki kemampuan mengambil informasi secara mandiri dan akurat, menganalisa sebuah permasalahan secara individu maupun kelompok dengan teliti, dan berpikir kritis serta mengevaluasi setiap informasi yang diperoleh pada setiap permasalahan. ***** This study aims to determine the analysis of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Approach to the improvement of the Higher Order Thinking Skills of Elementary School Students. The method used in this research is literature study. Literature research is carried out by reviewing literature sources such as books, journals, articles or other relevant sources. The data analysis technique carried out by the author is a content analysis technique. By using content analysis techniques, you will get the results of an analysis of various data from journals, books, scientific articles, and other literature related to this research in an objective and systematic manner. The results of the descriptive and comparative analysis can be concluded that the appropriate learning model is an example of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in which this learning model prioritizes students as active and dominant subjects in its application or can be called student control. This can be seen in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning which will encourage students to have the ability to take information independently and accurately, analyze a problem individually or in groups carefully, and think critically and evaluate any information obtained on each problem.
