Abstract

******** Abstract The background of this research is that the learning outcomes of junior high school students are not optimal. Students at school are more likely to dislike mathematics because it is considered a difficult subject with many formulas and calculations. As a result, the interest and motivation of students to learn mathematics becomes less, so that mathematics achievement in school becomes poor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mathematical selfefficacy, academic flow, through achievement motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students. This research method is quantitative with explanatory survey method with causality. The sample in this study amounted to 302 students of SMPN 178 South Jakarta, SMPN 167 East Jakarta, SMPN 229 West Jakarta, SMPN 77 Central Jakarta, SMPN 112 North Jakarta. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling. The analysis technique uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that math self-efficacy positively and significantly affected academic flow, achievement motivation, and learning outcomes; academic flow positively and significantly affects achievement motivation; academic flow does not significantly affect mathematics learning outcomes; achievement motivation positively and significantly affects mathematics learning outcomes; indirectly math self-efficacy significantly affects achievement motivation through academic flow; indirectly math self-efficacy does not significantly affect mathematics learning outcomes through achievement motivation; indirectly math self-efficacy affects mathematics learning outcomes through academic flow; Indirectly, academic flow affects mathematics learning outcomes through achievement motivation. Keywords: Math Self-Efficacy, Academic Flow, Achievement Motivation, Mathematics Learning Outcomes
