Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat self-disclosure dan self-presentation pada pengguna aplikasi kencan / dating apps. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatf dengan uji manova untuk pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian memiliki sampel berjumlah 278 orang pengguna aplikasi kencan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Self-disclosure diukur dengan menggunakan instrumen oleh Wheeless (1976) dan telah di adaptasi oleh Aziza (2019), kemudian untuk self-presentation diukur menggunakan alat ukur yang dibuat oleh Michikyan et al., (2015) yang telah dilakukan adaptasi oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa pengaruh tingkat self-disclosure terhadap self-presentation pada pengguna aplikasi kencan / dating apps. This study aims to determine the influence of the level of self-disclosure and self-presentation among dating app users. The methodology in this study uses a quantification approach with manova assays for hypothesis testing. The study had a sample of 278 dating app users with purposive sampling techniques. Self-disclosure was measured using an instrument by Wheeless (1976) and has been adapted by Aziza (2019), then for self-presentation measured using measuring instruments made by Michikyan et al., (2015) which has been adapted by researchers.
