Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal dan expressive suppression terhadap perilaku eksternalisasi pada remaja tengah di Jabodetabek. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 385 responden yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Uji analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah uji analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan pada dimensi cognitive reappraisal nilai sig. = 0,00, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal terhadap perilaku eksternalisasi pada remaja tengah di Jabodetabek, sedangkan pada dimensi expressive suppression nilai sig. = 0,00, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi expressive suppression terhadap perilaku eksternalisasi pada remaja tengah di Jabodetabek, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai koefisien determinan (R Square) pada dimensi cognitive reappraisal adalah 0,339 yang berarti memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku eksternalisasi sebesar 33,9%. Sedangkan nilai koefisien determinan (R Square) pada dimensi expressive suppression adalah 0,313 yang berarti memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku eksternalisasi sebesar 31,3%. ***** This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of emotional regulation of cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression on externalizing behavior in middle adolescents in Jabodetabek. The sample in this study amounted to 385 respondents obtained using purposive sampling technique. The statistical analysis test used to test the hypothesis of this study was a simple regression analysis test. The results of this study indicate the cognitive reappraisal dimension of sig value. = 0.00, which means that there is an influence of cognitive reappraisal emotion regulation on externalizing behavior in middle adolescents in Jabodetabek, while on the expressive suppression dimension the value of sig. = 0.00, which means that there is an influence of expressive suppression emotion regulation on externalizing behavior in middle adolescents in Jabodetabek. The results of this study show that the determinant coefficient (R Square) on the cognitive reappraisal dimension is 0.339, which means that it has an influence on externalizing behavior of 33,9%. While the value of the determinant coefficient (R Square) on the expressive suppression dimension is 0.313, which means that it has an influence on externalization behavior of 31.3%.
