Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan wordless picture book berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning berdasarkan model pengembangan ADDIE, (2) Untuk melihat tingkat kelayakan pengembangan wordless picture book berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning untuk pembelajaran Tema 1 Hidup Rukun sub tema 1 – 3 di kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi and Evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Penelitian pengembangan ini melibatkan beberapa responden diantaranya, satu dosen ahli materi, satu dosen ahli media, satu dosen ahli bahasa, guru kelas II dan peserta didik kelas II SDN Kramat Pela 07 berjumlah 20 anak, untuk menilai kelayakan produk Wordless Picture Book yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Wordless Picture Book berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning dinilai sangat baik. Hal tersebut terlihat berdasarkan nilai rata-rata dari uji validasi ahli materi, media, dan bahasa sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat baik, uji coba guru kelas II sebesar 96% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan uji coba peserta didik mendapat nilai sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas, maka Wordless Picture Book berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai buku bacaan dalam muatan pelajaran PPKn di kelas II SD. ---------- This development research aims to: (1) To find out the process of making a wordless picture book based on Contextual Teaching and Learning based on the ADDIE development model, (2) To see the feasibility level of developing a wordless picture book based on Contextual Teaching and Learning for learning Theme 1 Living Rukun sub-theme 1 – 3 in grade II Elementary School. The research method used is the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This development research involved several respondents including, one material expert lecturer, one media expert lecturer, one linguist lecturer, class II teacher and 20 children class II students at SDN Kramat Pela 07, to assess the feasibility of the developed Wordless Picture Book product. The results showed that the Wordless Picture Book based on Contextual Teaching and Learning was considered very good. This can be seen based on the average value of the material, media, and language expert validation tests of 95% in the very good category, the second grade teacher trial of 96% in the very good category, and the students' test scores of 94% with very good category. Based on the explanation above, the Wordless Picture Book based on Contextual Teaching and Learning is included in the very good category, so it is suitable to be used as a reading book in the content of Civics lessons in grade II SD.
