Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self compassion terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Jabodetabek pada saat masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengujian regresi sederhana. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan memperoleh 200 responden dengan kriteria mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Jabodetabek berusia 18-30 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Self Compassion Scale (SCS) dan Tuckman Procrastination Scale (TPS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self compassion memiliki pengaruh secara negatif terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir saat masa pandemi COVID-19. Dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat self compassion, maka akan semakin rendah tingkat prokrastinasi akademiknya. This study aims to determine the effect of self-compassion on the academic procrastination of final year students in in Jabodetabek during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with simple regression testing. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique and obtained 200 respondents with the criteria of final year students in Jabodetabek aged 18-30 years. The measuring instruments used are Self Compassion Scale (SCS) and Tuckman Procrastination Scale (TPS). The results showed that self-compassion had a negative effect on academic procrastination in final year students during the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be interpreted that if the level of self-compassion is higher, the level of academic procrastination will be lower.
