Abstract

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti strategi-strategi yang digunakan oleh guru untuk memancing partisipasi siswa dan cara para guru tersebut mengimplentasikan strategi pembelajaran tersebut . Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga sekolah dasar negeri di daerah Kedaung Kaliangke, Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui, observasi dan wawancara. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru tersebut menggunakan beberapa strategi pembelajaran untuk memancing partisipasi siswa dan strategi-strategi pembelajaran tersebut dianggap sukses dalam memancing partisipasi siswa. Partisipasi siswa dapat dilihat dari tiga jenis interaksi yang dihasilkan oleh strategi-strategi pembelajaran tersebut, yaitu interaksi siswa-isi, interaksi siswa-guru dan interaksi siswa-siswa. Strategi�strategi pembelajaran yang dianggap dapat memancing partisipasi siswa adalah bertanya, bernyanyi, menggunakan drilling, memberikan tugas, reading aloud, mendikte, menggunakan gambar, memberikan worksheet dan memberikan umpan balik. ***** This study aims at finding out teaching strategies that can be used to encourage learners’ participation and the implementation of the strategies. This study was conducted in three public schools in Kedaung Kaliangke, West Jakarta. This study used a qualitative method using two instruments, namely observation and interview. The data obtained from observation transcribed and then categorized into four aspects of teaching strategies: questionings, presenting teaching activity, providing teaching aids and giving feedback. The findings revealed that the teachers used some strategies to encourage their learners’ participation and the strstegies used were successful to encourage the learners’ participation. Participation can be seen from the interaction created by the strategies. Namely learners-content interaction, learners-teacher interaction and learners-learners interaction. The teaching strategies considered encouraging learners’ participation are questionings, singing, using drilling, giving tasks, reading aloud, dictating, using pictures, giving worksheets and giving feedback.
