Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk buku Lift the Flap dan menumbuhkan literasi membaca pada diri siswa di sekolah dengan ruang lingkup penelitian ini bahwa akan mengembangkan sebuah produk buku Lift the Flap dalam menumbuhkan literasi membaca siswa kelas 1 SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut William W. Lee dan Diana L. Owens dengan tahapan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelayakan buku berjendela (Lift the Flap) mendapat nilai 82,95% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli materi, nilai 84,62% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli bahasa, nilai 96,74% berkategori sangat layak oleh ahli media, serta rata-rata penilaian oleh siswa kelas 1 SD pada uji coba satu-satu diperoleh 98,48% berkategori sangat baik, pada uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh 96,88% berkategori sangat baik, pada uji coba lapangan diperoleh 94,06% berkategori sangat baik, dan hasil pengisian teks rumpang oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa 27 dari 31 siswa mampu mengisi dengan jawaban tepat, meskipun penulisan susunan huruf dan kata terdapat kekurangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku Lift the Flap memiliki kelebihan karakteristik buku bagi siswa. Melalui produk yang dikembangkan, siswa dapat terdorong agar dapat membaca huruf sesuai bentuknya, kata, dan kalimat, serta bercerita sesuai gambar yang termasuk dalam aspek literasi membaca siswa kelas 1 SD. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini telah menghasilkan produk buku Lift the Flap yang dapat menumbuhkan literasi membaca siswa kelas 1 SD. ***** This study aims to develop Lift the Flap book and foster reading literacy in students at school with the scope of this research that will develop Lift the Flap book in foster the reading literacy in first grade of elementary school students. The research method is research and development according to William W. Lee and Diana L. Owens with the stages of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results indicate the average feasibility of Lift the Flap book 82.95% (very feasibility) by material experts, 84.62% (very feasibility) by linguists, 96.74% (very feasibility) by media experts, and the average rate by first grade elementary school students in the one-to-one evaluation 98.48% (very good), in the small group evaluation 96.88% (very good), in the field-test evaluation 94.06% (very good), and the results of filling the blank text by students showed that 27 of 31 students were able to fill in the correct answer, although there were mistake in the writing of the arrangement of letters and words. The results showed that Lift the Flap book had the advantages of book characteristics for students. Through the products developed, students can be encouraged to be able to read letters according to their shape, words, and sentences, and tell stories according to pictures which are included in the reading literacy aspect of first grade elementary school students. It can be concluded that this research has produced Lift the Flap book which can foster reading literacy in first grade of elementary school students.
