Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta keterampilan melalui pelatihan pembuatan opak singkong untuk meningkatkan life skill pada pemuda di RW 08 Desa Cogreg Kecamatan Parung Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design one group pretest – posttest sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pemuda di RW 08 sebanyak 30 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling kuota. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket, observasi, dan test hasil (pretest – posttest) instrument ini telah di uji melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, untuk mengetahui keabsahan data. Hasil pelatihan pembuatan opak singkong untuk meningkatkan life skill dilakukan melalui test hasil yaitu pretest dan posttest dimana diperoleh nilai uji pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada pretest 30 orang responden dari 25 item soal memperoleh nilai rata-rata 66,2 dan posttest memperoleh nilai rata-rata 84,6. Mengalami kenaikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 18,4 sesudah peserta pelatihan diberikan treatment pelatihan pembuatan opak singkong. ***** This study aims to provide knowledge and understanding and skills through training on making cassava opak to improve life skills in youth in RW 08 Cogreg Village, Parung District, Bogor. This study used the pre-experimental design one group pretest method – the posttest sample in this study was 30 youth in RW 08. Sampling using quota sampling technique. Research data collected with questionnaire, observation, and test results (pretest – posttest) instruments have been tested through validity and reliability tests, to determine the validity of the data. The results of training on making cassava opak to improve life skills were carried out through test results, namely pretest and posttest where the value of knowledge and understanding tests was obtained on the pretest of 30 respondents from 25 question items obtained an average score of 66.2 and posttest obtained an average score of 84.6. Experienced an increase in the average value of 18.4 after the training participants were given a training treatment for making cassava opak.
