Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Buku Saku Digital Berbasis Mind Mapping yang dikembangkan untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada muatan pembelajaran IPS materi “Kenampakan Alam dan Buatan di Indonesia” di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini sangat penting, karena pada abad 21 ini siswa dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun berdasarkan fakta yang ada, mengatakan bahwa hanya sebagian kecil yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D), dengan lima tahap model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN Sukamaju 03 Cilodong. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan expert review para ahli menunjukkan kelayakan media pembelajaran buku saku digital berbasis mind mapping dengan presentase sebesar 93,33% dari ahli materi, 77,5% dari ahli bahasa, dan 84% dari ahli media dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Selain itu, adapun hasil dari uji pretest dan posttest sebagai hasil dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa didapatkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir siswa materi kenampakan alam dan buatan sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran buku saku digital berbasis mind mapping dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran buku saku digital berbasis mind mapping. Dari hasil tersebut maka diketahui bahwa media pembelajaran buku saku digital berbasis mind mapping materi kenampakan alam dan buatan, layak dan efektif dapat digunakan untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada muatan IPS Kelas V SD. ***** This study aims to develop products in the form of Digital Pocket Book Mind Maps Based to train students' critical thinking skills on social science learning content "Natural and Artificial Appearance in Indonesia” in grade 5th Elementary School. This is very important, because in the 21st century it is difficult for students to have critical thinking skills. However, based on the existing facts, it is said that only a small proportion have higher order thinking skills or HOTS. The study uses Research and Development (R&D) research methods, with the five-stage ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) . The subjects in this study were students of grade 5th SDN Sukamaju 03 Cilodong. The results based on expert review that show the feasibility of learning media digital pocket book mind mapping based with a percentage of 93.33% from material expert, 77.5% from linguists, and 84 % of media experts in the “excellent” category. Besides that, as for the results of the test pretest and posttest as a result of students' critical thinking skills obtained score Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. Score Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 thinking ability student of natural and artificial appearance learning contents’ before using the pocket book digital based on mind mapping and after using the pocket book digital based on mind mapping . From these results, it is known that the pocket book digital based on mind mapping of natural and artificial appearance learning content, feasible and effective to practice students' critical thinking skills on social science for grade 5th Elementary School.
