Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis service experience (pengalaman pelayanan) yang didapatkan oleh tamu yang menginap di homestay di Desa Wisata Cisaat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Ciater, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 8 orang tamu yang pernah menginap di homestay sebagai informan primer dan 8 orang pemilik homestay sebagai informan sekunder. Teknik pengambilan data dan sumber data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara, serta dokumentasi berupa foto dan rekaman suara dari informan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para informan primer mendapatkan service experience (pengalaman pelayanan) yang berkesan selama menginap di homestay karena pelayanan ramah yang diberikan oleh pemilik homestay, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, keamanan dan privasi yang terjaga, serta mendapatkan pengalaman yang baru mengenai kehidupan pemilik homestay sebagai masyarakat desa. Dengan demikian, pengelola homestay diharapkan bisa mempertahankan pelayanan yang baik serta selalu menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai untuk tamunya agar tamu merasa aman dan nyaman selama menggunakan pelayanan mereka. This study aims to analyze the service experience obtained by guests staying at homestays in Cisaat Tourism Village. This research was conducted in Cisaat Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency, West Java. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a survey method. The subjects of this study consisted of 8 guests who had stayed at homestays as primary informants and 8 homestay owners as secondary informants. Data collection techniques and data sources are carried out using in-depth interview methods using interview guidelines, as well as documentation in the form of photos and voice recordings from informants directly. The results showed that primary informants get a memorable service experience during their stay at a homestay because of the friendly service provided by the homestay owner, the provision of adequate facilities, maintained security and privacy, and get a new experience about the life of the homestay owner as a village community. Thus, homestay managers are expected to maintain good service and always provide adequate facilities for their guests so that guests feel safe and comfortable while using their services.
