Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengahasilkan LKPD matematika berbasis pendekatan RME untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual matematis khususnya pada materi bilangan pecahan yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan mengunakan Hannafin and Pack. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan sebagai alat ukur pada penelitian dan pengembangan terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis pendekatan RME untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual materi bilangan pecahan mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas III sekolah dasar adalah kuesioner yang diberikan kepada peserta didik. Selain itu, dilakukan observasi dengan meninjau dan menelusuri proses pembelajaran dan penggunaan media dalam dalam proses pembelajaran. Kemudian, untuk melengkapi pengumpulan data, dilakukan validasi oleh para ahli yaitu ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli materi melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD matematika berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) yang dikembangkan telah valid dengan rata-rata nilai validasi adalah 93,18 %. Kemudian peneliti melakukan uji coba kepada pengguna dengan beberapa tahap yaitu one to one, small group, dan field test. Tahap uji coba di mulai dari uji coba one to one yang melibatkan 4 peserta didik, kemudian uji coba small group yang melibatkan 6 peserta didik dan terakhir uji coba field test yang melibatkan 15 peserta didik. Skor yang diperoleh dari uji coba one to one yaitu sebesar 100% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, kemudian skor dari uji coba small group yaitu 98,61% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, dan uji coba field test memperoleh skor 98,33% sehingga masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. The purpose of this study was to produce math worksheets based on the RME approach to improve conceptual understanding of mathematics, especially in valid and practical fractional material. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) using Hannafin and Pack. The research instrument used as a measuring tool in the research and development of student worksheets based on the RME approach to improve conceptual understanding of fractional material in mathematics for third grade elementary school students is a questionnaire given to students. In addition, observations were made by reviewing and tracing the learning process and the use of media in the learning process. Then, to complete the data collection, validation was carried out by experts namely linguists, media experts, and material experts through questionnaires. The results showed that the mathematics LKPD based on the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) approach developed was valid with an average validation value of 93.18%. Then the researcher conducted trials on users with several stages, namely one to one, small group, and field tests. The trial phase starts with one-to-one trials involving 4 students, then small group trials involving 6 students and finally field tests involving 15 students. The score obtained from the one to one trial was 100% so it was included in the very good category, then the score from the small group trial was 98.61% which was included in the very good category, and the field test obtained a score of 98.33%. so that it is in the very good category.
