Abstract

Menulis akademik bagi mahasiswa membutuhkan kemandirian belajar dan ketahanmalangan. Kemandirian dan ketahanmalangan tersebut perlu dikemas dalam sebuah model pembelajaran menulis akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran menulis akademik bahasa Arab dalam ranah pengembangan paragraf untuk membuat pendahuluan, pembahasan, dan kesimpulan berbasis otonomi belajar. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian gabungan dengan bentuk Convergent Parallel Mixed Methode dengan menggabungkan penelitian dalam bentuk survey, analisis isi, dan eksperimen. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui 7 (tujuh) instrumen, yaitu 1) instrumen analisis kebutuhan, 2) instrumen analisis situasi, 3) instrumen pemetaan kemampuan awal mahasiswa, 4) instrumen gaya belajar, 5) instrumen peer review, 6) instrumen telaah pakar, 7) instrumen uji efektivitas. Data yang di dapat dalam bentuk hasil survey, dokumen, hasil wawancara, nilai mahasiswa, hasil telaah pakar, dan hasil uji efektivitas. Data-data tersebut dielaborasikan dengan teknik analisis data sesuai dengan masing-masing instrumen. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS dan Microsoft Excel. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model pembelajaran menulis akademik bahasa Arab berbasis otonomi belajar dengan dilengkapi 4 (empat) produk, yaitu Rencana Pembelajaran Semester, modul pembelajaran, video pembelajaran, dan Learning Management System. Model pembelajaran ini telah diujicobakan di tiga program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab dari 2 perguruan tinggi swasta yaitu Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA serta Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, dan 1 perguruan tinggi negeri yaitu Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Ujicoba di tiga program studi tersebut mendapatkan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis otonomi belajar efektif untuk pembelajaran menulis akademik bahasa Arab. Uji efektivitas dibuktikan dengan perbedaan nilai rerata hasil pre test dan post test yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji T Diperoleh hasil sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05). Hasil pretest dan posttes tersebut mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran menulis akademik bahasa Arab berbasis otonomi belajar yang diujicobakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab UHAMKA, UNJ, dan UMSIDA efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis akademik bahasa Arab untuk mahasiswa. *** Academic writing for students in University requires independent learning and resilience that must be contained in the learning model. This study aims to develop a learning model of Arabic academic writing based on learning autonomy . The focus of this study is to to develop a model for learning Arabic academic writing in the field of paragraph development to make introductions, discussions, and conclusions based on learning autonomy. The design of this research is a combined research in the form of Convergent Parallel Mixed Method by combining research in the form of surveys, content analysis, and experiments. The data in this study were obtained through seven instruments, namely 1) needs analysis instrument, 2) situation analysis instrument, 3) student's initial ability mapping instrument, 4) learning style instrument, 5) peers' reviews instruments, 6) experts' reviews instruments, 7) effectiveness test instrument. The data obtained were in the form of surveys, documents, interview results, students' scores, expert review results, and effectiveness test results. These data were elaborated with data analysis techniques according to each instrument. Data processing was conducted by using software. This research resulted in 4 products: lesson plans, learning modules, videos, and learning management systems which were used in a series of learning models based on autonomy-based academic writing. This learning model was tested in three universities consisting of 2 private universities and 1 state university with the results being effectively used for learning Arabic academic writing. Based on the results of the T test, a result of 0.000 (p <0.05) was obtained. The results of the pretest and posttest experienced significant changes. It can be concluded that the Arabic academic writing learning model based on learning autonomy that was tested in the UHAMKA, UNJ, and UMSIDA Arabic Education Study Programs was effective in improving students' Arabic academic writing skills.
