Abstract

*ABSTRACT* This study aims to develop a training medium for the reaction speed of UNJ Pickleball altet using technology in the hope of providing a variety of exercises that are as specific as the characteristics of the sport of Pickleball. The selection of ADDIE research methods is based on considerations for developing a product. The existence of a process of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation so as to provide an opportunity to produce quality development products. The sampling technique is carried out by purposive sampling method. Data analysis techniques use the stages of the ADDIE method which are arranged programmatically and systematically including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the research data obtained from the ADDIE stage that has been carried out, this study produced a prototype of reaction speed training media using light reaction for the sport of Pickleball. The results of the athlete interview also showed that the Jakarta State University Pickleball athletes were very enthusiastic and happy in following, trying and wanting to know the development of reaction speed training media provided by researchers. This training medium can help ease the burden on coaches in providing material to meet needs, more varied and make it easier for athletes to absorb training materials effectively and efficiently. Keywords: reaction speed, light reaction, pickleball.
