Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Maze Puzzle untuk mempelajari konsep ruang bagi siswa tunanetra. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta dengan melibatkan 4 orang siswa tunanetra kelas 1 SDLB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan model PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation). Media pembelajaran Maze Puzzle yang dikembangkan dilengkapi dengan Manual Book Maze Puzzle, sudah divalidasi oleh para ahli pada aspek media serta buku panduan, dengan hasil validasi media pembelajaran didapatkan nilai 89% kategori sangat baik, validasi materi pembelajaran didapatkan nilai 89% kategori sangat baik, dan validasi ketunanteraan didapatkan nilai 96% kategori sangat baik. Media diujicobakan melalui one-to-one evaluation terhadap 4 orang siswa kelas 1 dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa Maze Puzzle dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mempelajari konsep ruang bagi siswa tunanetra. *** This study aims to develop Maze Puzzle learning media to study the concept of space for visually impaired students. This research was conducted at SLB A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Jakarta involving 4 visually impaired students in grade 1. The research method used in this research is Research and Development using the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) model. The developed Maze Puzzle learning media is equipped with a Maze Puzzle Manual Book, which has been validated by experts on media aspects and guidebooks, with the validation results of learning media getting a score of 89% in the very good category, validation of learning material getting a score of 89% in the very good category, and the validation of blindness obtained a value of 96% in the very good category. The media was tested through one-to-one evaluation of 4 grade 1 students with an average score of 100%. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that Maze Puzzle can be used as a learning medium to study the concept of space for visually impaired students.
