Abstract

Dalam pembuatan produk plastik dengan menggunakan proses injeksi molding masih sering ditemukan cacat pada produk injeksi molding tersebut. Munculnya cacat produk selama proses pembuatan (in-process) menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan pada proses produksi (end product). Proses pencetakan produk plastik membutuhkan berbagai parameter antara lain suhu pemanasan, suhu leleh, pendinginan, waktu penahanan dan kecepatan injeksi. banyak produk cacat yang disebabkan oleh suhu pemanasan. Dalam hal ini peneliti tertarik untuk membahas pengaruh variasi suhu pemanasan pada produk injeksi molding untuk produk handle storage box “Logico Maximo”. setelah dilakukan percobaan dengan beberapa variasi temperatur injeksi yang digunakan serta analisis dan pengecekan visual pada produk, didapatkan bahwa temperatur injeksi sangat mempengaruhi cacat produk pada handle storage box “Logico Maximo”. Variasi temperatur pemanasan 230℃ merupakan temperatur optimal untuk handle storage box “Logico Maximo” dibandingkan dengan 7 variasi temperatur lainnya dengan nilai tekanan injeksi 60 bar. Semakin tinggi nilai temperatur yang digunakan akan mempengaruhi tingkat kecacatan produk hasil injeksi. In the manufacture of plastic products using the injection molding process, defects are still often found in these injection molding products. The emergence of product defects during the manufacturing process (in-process) causes changes to the production process (end product). The process of molding plastic products requires various parameters including heating temperature, melting temperature, cooling, holding time and injection speed. many product defects caused by heating temperature. In this case the researcher is interested in discussing the effect of heating temperature variations on injection molding products for the "Logico Maximo" handle storage box product. after experimenting with several variations of the injection temperature used as well as analysis and visual checking of the product, it was found that the injection temperature greatly affects product defects in the handle storage box of the “Logico Maximo” injection molding machine. The heating temperature variation of 230℃ is the optimal temperature for the handle of the storage box injection molding machine "Logico Maximo" compared to 7 other temperature variations with an injection pressure value of 60 bar. The higher the temperature value used will affect the level of defects in the injection product.
