Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi untuk mencari hubungan antara variabel satu dengan variabel lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan dan mengetahui tingkat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua gaya authoritative dengan disiplin belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar Kecamatan Cilincing, Jakarta Utara. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas IV SDN Semper Barat 07, SDN Semper Barat 09, SDN Semper Timur 03, dan SDN Semper Timur 05 dengan menggunakan teknik custer random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment diperoleh r sebesar 0,467 dan uji-t diperoleh t_(hitung )> t_tabel (5,934 > 1,657). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua gaya authoritative dengan disiplin belajar siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh Gaya Authoritative, Disiplin Belajar, Siswa Kelas IV This study uses the correlation method to find the relationship between one variable and another. This study aims to prove and determine the level of relationship between authoritative parenting and learning discipline for fourth grade elementary school students in Cilincing District, North Jakarta. The samples used in this study were fourth grade students at SDN Semper Barat 07, SDN Semper Barat 09, SDN Semper Timur 03, and SDN Semper Timur 05 using a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Based on the calculation of the Pearson Product Moment r value is 0.467 and the t test results are t_(count )> t_table (5.934 > 1.657). These results indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between authoritative parenting and the learning discipline of fourth grade elementary school students.
