Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data penilaian estetika terhadap lima produk sling bag dengan teknik variasi tusuk pipih pada plastik kanvas dan kemasan alumunium foil diukur menggunakan aspek/indikator wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penampilan atau penyajian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pre- experimental design, one shot case study. Instrumen terdiri dari 13 pernyataan dengan skala pengukuran rating scale. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa estetika sling bag teknik variasi tusuk pipih pada plastik kanvas dan kemasan alumunium foil memiliki indikator/aspek wujud atau rupa paling tinggi dengan kategori sangat bagus, dan indikator/aspek estetika sling bag yang paling rendah adalah aspek gagasan/ide dengan kategori sangat bagus. Sementara di urutan kedua terdapat aspek penampilan/penyajian berdasarkan penerapan prinsip desain dengan kategori sangat bagus, sesuai dengan teori estetika Djelantik. ***** This study aims to obtain data on the aesthetic assessment of five sling bag products using a satin stitch variation technique on plastic canvas and alumunium foil packaging as measured using aspects/indicators of shape or form, content, and appearance or presentation. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative with a pre-experimental design approach, one shot case study. The instrument consists of 13 ports with a rating scale. The results of this study stated that the aesthetics of the sling bag variation of the satin stitch technique on canvas plastic and alumunium foil packaging had the highest form or form indicator/aspect with the very good category, and the lowest aesthetic indicator/aspect of the sling bag was the aspect of the idea/idea with the category very good. While in second place there is an appearance/presentation aspect based on the application of design principles with a very good category, in accordance with Djelantik's aesthetic theory.
