Abstract

Peningkatan kinerja karyawan seyogyanya harus dapat menjadi prioritas utama dalam menunjang keberhasilan sebuah lembaga. Untuk itulah dibutuhkan manajemen perilaku sumber daya manusia yang sesuai dengan harapan lembaga tersebut. Atas dasar itulah sehingga penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kepemimpinan, sikap, kompetensi dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja pejabat fungsional peneliti di Balai Penelitian, Pengembangan dan Inovasi Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah perwakilan responden yang diambil dari seluruh Kantor se-Indonesia sebanyak 215 pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan apabila ingin meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara positif, maka factor – factor seperti kepemimpinan, sikap, kompetensi dan penghargaan juga perlu diperhatikan. Tindak lanjut penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar dalam pencapaian strategi pengembangan dan peningkatan kinerja pegawai dalam mengevaluasi setiap proses manajemen kinerja yang telah dilaksanakan. Improving employee performance should be a top priority in supporting the success of an institution. For this reason, human resource behavior management is needed in accordance with the expectations of the institution. On that basis, this research was carried out to determine whether there is an influence of leadership, attitude, competence, and appreciation on the performance of functional researchers at the Research, Development, and Innovation Center of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a number of representative respondents taken from all offices throughout Indonesia as many as 215 employees. The results show that if you want to improve employee performance positively, then factors such as leadership, attitude, competence, and appreciation also need to be considered. Follow-up research can be used as the basis for achieving development strategies and improving employee performance by evaluating each performance management process that has been implemented
